Great for reunions/events This newly renovated resort is perfectly located directly across the street from the popular Wimberley Market Days location, and minutes from the downtown square. With multiple units available to accommodate a large group in private rooms, the Wimberley Log Cabin Resort and Suites is an ideal location for family reunions, corporate retreats, and much more! With Complete with 8 motel style rooms, and two free standing houses, The Wimberley Log Cabins Resort and Suites has plenty of space for gathering with the option for individuals to have some space to themselves if they desire. The front building --the Texas Cabin Suites -- has four motel style guest rooms that each have a king sized bed, and a queen sized sofa sleeper, a full bath, and a small kitchenette. The middle building --the Lone Star Cabin Suites-- has four more motel style guest rooms that each have two queen sized beds, a full bath, and mini fridge, microwave, and coffee makers. In addition the these two buildings there are two free standing log homes each with two private bedrooms and bathrooms with additional sleeping quarters available in each. Sprayer in Reunion Cabin kitchen could not be turned off, had one speed, and sprayed us every time we washed dishes. Lots of lights outside did not work. Very frustrating to get a definitive answer on early checkin possibilities - the Property manager read by the book, and would not listen to polite reasoning. Said he could only follow protocol, and we had to call numerous times. The housecleaner and field agent were very nice in person and helpful. ##### Suzanne H. Negatives: \* August in central Texas is HOT. The A/C may be good enough for some months but it was very inadequate for August. \* Some mattresses appear to be older / broken down and could be more comfortable. \* Buildings are a bit further from each other than ideal (again, this is mostly just because it was just so hot) \* Wifi does not function well in rooms (it's fine in the main space) \* Main lodge door sticks. Not a deal breaker but it's annoying, especially when kids are trying to get in/out. \* Not enough covered trash bins for a property that is designed to accommodate a larger number of people. \* Attempting to get an early check-in was painful. ##### Michael H.
