Lovey home just 20 minutes away from lake placid. The ski conditions weren’t great but it allowed us to explore other parts of the area.

Guys Winter Hiking Retreat
Amazing log-cabin house on 20 acres set back in the woods well away from any traffic. House sits less than 5 minutes from the town of Wilmington and is 15 minutes from Lake Placid, Keene, Heart Lake, and endless hiking opportunities…This house has a great-lodge cabin feel, very spacious with 5 bedrooms and 2 & 1/2 baths, massive stone fireplace, modernized and ammenity-full kitchen, full house-length front porch, full garage-to-house access, and large jacuzzi tub in one of the bathrooms. Definitely one of top my top bookings from many trips to the Adirondacks! You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

Lovely location
Location is really ideal if you are going to Whiteface. We were going to Santa’s workshop so it was perfect. The only thing I would say is 10 seemed a bit early for check out but overall lovely stay. Big enough for all though downstairs bedroom is super loud with any foot traffic upstairs. No one’s fault just nature of the building. Fireplace is great, very cozy and plenty of space for all of us.

Nice secluded house
This house is beautiful and had some really comfy furniture. Some things I would suggest/ improve for the owners are: The jets in the tub did not work The fly trap on the ceiling of the living room is full and needs to be replaced Dont charge a cleaning fee if your guests strip the beds and take out the trash by the check out protocol Other then those things we had a great time and it was a very nice stay!

Beautiful home
We stayed with 3 other couples and this house was very accommodating. About a 20 mins drive from lake placid. Has a fire pit behind house. Very glad we stayed here!

Beautiful house, private location
House is situated in a very private location. Many amenities were provided. Nice grill and other appliances. Very comfortable and in great shape. View of the mountains is blocked by trees, but that's minor. Owner provided wood for the fireplace and fire pit.

Amazing rustic cabin in Wilmington, NY
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this cabin in Wilmington, NY. The cleanliness and comfort of the home was impeccable. The location was perfect, being a short drive to many wonderful hikes that we enjoyed including, but not limited to, Mt. Jo, White Face Mountain, Flume Trail, Copperas Pond etc. This home felt peaceful and secluded but also was accessible to many wonderful sights of the Adirondaks. This truly was one of our best VRBO experiences yet!

Perfection!
Stayed in Wilmington with the whole family, 6 adults and 3 kids. Beautiful home, quiet property, and it had everything we needed. Rooms were comfortable, each had a fan for the warm evenings. There was more than enough sleeping space for all of us, and even though the property technically only has 3 rooms, it felt like there were 5. Would absolutely stay again.

Easy access to Adirondacks, Olympic sites, hiking trails, kayaking waterways, fishing, ....the list is endless. The house was a perfect place for our family of ten to start and end the day.

Great property near Lake Placid
I recently stayed at this property during a long weekend in February. The house was well maintained and was perfect for our family. The house is at the end of a long residential street and is very secluded, yet a short and scenic drive to downtown LP. We enjoyed evenings by the fireplace and listening to the small stream that runs behind the house. This is a perfect home if you are looking to visit LP but don’t want to stay in the village and would rather have a more remote base.The house is very close to Whiteface and area hiking trails. I would definitely visit this property again should we return to the Lake Placid area.

Lovely Summer Stay
We had such a great weekend with our family here. The cabin was lovely and in such a beautiful, scenic area. It was nice to be in nature, but still within 15 minutes of Lake Placid. The owners were great to communicate with and provided everything we needed for a great stay. On top of that, they even contacted us regarding an item we left and mailed it to us on their dime. Thanks for a great stay! We would gladly come back!

So Relaxing!
The home was beautiful and immaculate! It's obviously well cared for. The kitchen has everything you need. We had a great time with four adults and four children. Plenty of room for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is to possibly provide fire pit seating? If not possible, make a note to bring camp chairs. I would also suggest cutting a better path to the mountain stream. Those are two very minor minor complaints and had little impact on our enjoyment. The location was perfect for activities we had planned and we will definitely return. Thank you!

Beautiful house with all the amenities and a great location! 5 STARS!
We were only able to stay for a short visit this time but hope to make this an annual family get a way and stay for the week next year. This house was clean, spacious & stunning. The listing was accurate, clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends. Very close to a popular cliff jumping spot where the children had a wonderful time jumping and swimming around the waterfall. Lots of sleeping areas for our children, comfortable beds. Gorgeous granite counter-tops in kitchen, kitchen fully stocked with everything one needs to prepare meals. A grill, a screened in porch, a pretty yard and a stream for the children to play in. Only about 20 min from downtown Lake Placid. We will definitely stay here again. The only issues we had, which were not big issues was that the wi-fi was very slow and at times did not work, which made it difficult for me to work from here, and we couldn't figure out how to turn on the televisions. Not necessarily a bad thing since it kept us off of our electronics and we were able to enjoy more family time. Also, would have loved to be able to bring our dog, but understand that most rentals do not allow pets. Thank you for a wonderful stay, five stars from us!
