Wilmington Blue House is beautifully situated and certainly ideal for large groups of people of diverse ages and interests. The house is nicely placed with respect to the outdoors, with numerous, openable windows and convenient doors. I have several criticisms. While the bedrooms, baths, and hallways were welcomingly clean, the kitchen was a great disappointment on that score. Every drawer you opened emitted a nasty smell, and none of few, mostly inadequate (some broken) utensils in those drawers were not clean enough to use without first being washed. The bottoms of the drawers were disgusting--ditto the few dish towels. The bottom of the oven had a puddle of accumulated grease. Not even the plates, mugs, and glasses--presumably straight from the dishwasher--could be used without a first wash.
In short, the cleaning crew--for which a huge sum is charged--should be advised to pay the kitchen and dining equipment to same careful attention they give to vacuuming the sleeping quarters.
Keep trying!
