The cottage rests on 2.5 acres of private land with 151 feet of beachfront, a shaded yard, and sunny meadow. With 3 cozy bedrooms, enclosed porch with bed, screened porch, and a detached bonus room, this charming retreat is perfect for families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway. Two of the bedrooms, both porches, and the living and dining room feature a spectacular lakeside view of the mountains of Vermont - from Camel’s Hump to Stowe to the lights of Burlington. The third bedroom overlooks the vast yard and meadow. Guests are free to use a 12-foot aluminum rowboat and kayak, cook on the propane grill, and roast marshmallows on an outdoor campfire overlooking the lake. The property is nestled into the secluded side of shallow Rowley Bay, with sunrise views over the lake, frequent rainbows, quiet sounds of wildlife on the water during the day, sunset views of the Adirondack Mountains, and a showcasing of fireflies in the meadow of the front two acres at night. The cottage is minutes away from two marinas, a NY state boat launch, a 9 hole golf course, ferry to Vermont, Amish farms & produce, local markets, and quaint eateries. It is within an hour’s drive to multiple attractions including Lake Placid with free live summertime music concerts, Whiteface Mountain with summer chairlift, Ausable Chasm with trails and tubing, historic Fort Ticonderoga, Highland Winery with live music and amazing lake vistas, and multiple hiking trails throughout the area.
