A well-equipped kitchen with an excellent range of appliances and equipment, ideal if you want to cook up a feast while on holiday. This charming property is nestled in the centre of the quiet, picturesque village of Ireby near Caldbeck and Uldale. Ireby is right on the border of the Lake District National Park, in fact the border crosses about twenty steps from the door! From here you have lovely walks and cycle routes nearby. If you love the outdoors, this village is in a prime location. Connected by the road networks it means you can get here quickly and start your holiday sooner. Yet you’re just a short drive to many of the amazing towns and tourist hotspots that The Northern Lakes has to offer. We had a lovely stay at Old Saddlers Cottage. A very homely cottage with plenty of space and everything you need. Check out Woodlands Country House, on a Tuesday for a fish and chip supper. Which is just 5 min walk away. The cottage is a perfect base to explore the Lake District. We loved our stay at Saddlers Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and we were greeted by a very thoughtful and generous welcome pack on arrival. It's a lovely, spacious cottage and had plenty of room for me, my husband and our 4 girls. We loved exploring the surrounding areas and enjoyed our evenings in the cottage playing games in front of the fire.
