We particularly liked the large open plan kitchen/diner/family room and spent all our time in there! The bedrooms and bathrooms were aplenty and catered for our family’s needs perfectly. The house had everything we needed for a 2 week stay with 2 teenagers and 2 children. We were in Standish to catch up with family due to a parents terminal illness and this was a fantastic location for us being 5 minutes drive from them. Also close to many places to take the kids. Totally recommend the roller rink in Wigan, Martin Mere, Haigh Hall (just an hours walk along the canal), Astley Park, & not too far for a trip in and around Liverpool.
