It advertised pool.. it was close to my surgery scheduled for the next morning. I was extremely disappointed that it wasn't advertised as CLOSED. Except for typed sign on desk .. we walked to just check it out and it looked FINE TO US! I was very much wanting to relax un the pool. The evening of my surgery! Needless to say.. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

The receptionist who checked us in put us in room 318. We got up to our room, took a bit to unpack and shower. We tried to log on to the WiFi several times on 2 different devices, no luck. We had people waiting on us at the venue we came for, but we stopped at the desk to enquire about fixing this. She, the same receptionist, said “she” put you in 318, you were assigned 319. After several minutes of waiting, we said we needed to go and we could figure it out when we returned. She said no, you have to change rooms because she couldn’t fix it in the system. We said no, they would just need to assign us to room 318. People were gathering behind us and several minutes later she did fix it. I reminded her that it had been less than 2 hours since she checked us in. No apology given. The manager who checked us out did her best to apologize for her. Other than that, the stay was uneventful.

Great property to stay at! The rooms were big and spacious with a couch and desk. Comfortable bed and bedding. The breakfast was good and clean. Lots of different choices. The only thing I would change is there is no vending machine by the ice makers on any floor. Was looking forward to getting a pop and couldn’t due to this! But everyone was super nice besides that!

The pillows were flat. We had two reservations they messed up one and didn't have any rooms left with 2 queen beds -- they did give us a king suite but the sofa bed was horrible to sleep on.

I liked the large studio room and having the kitchette area. Staff was helpful when we left items in the room after we had checked out. Very friendly staff.

Guess the most disappointing thing was you booked us a double queen beds which is what we wanted. When checked in we said we had a one king bed room. Was disappointed about that and they didn't have any doubles left.

We enjoyed our stay at The Hampton Inn. Upon arrival, parking was very easy and straight forward. We checked in & the front desk clerk was kind. It was a clean and a very quiet hotel. Family friendly. Our room was also one of the most clean I’ve ever stayed in. Everything worked in the hotel. Very nice area in North East Wichita. The breakfast was also just as good and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming.

The Hampton is my go-to motel. I've always had a wonderful stay and comfort. This trip was different. Starting from check-in with an unfriendly clerk. We went to the elevator with dirty spots and stains. Someone had not vacuumed in a while. Dirt all along the edges. This set the stage for the rest of our stay. When we arrived on the 2nd floor, we were looking for room 206. As we walked down the hall to our room, the dirty, stained carpet was unvacuumed. When we opened the door, there was a strong odor, like a chemical smell. The room was very hot. We turned on the a/c racket, and the scent overtook the room. We turned everything off, but it did not help. We went to bed thinking at least we would get a good night's rest. Well, that didn't happen. The bed was so hard. Every time you moved, it made a sound like it would break. Somebody spotted around the toilet before our stay. I've never given a bad review before. A motel can be dated, but if you are dirty and unkept and using the Hampton sign, who prides themselves on comfort, it's not ok. I feel like I was tricked. It had the sign on the outside, but inside was an imposter.

The hotel was clean. They did not put me in the kind of room i requested but did change it when i addressed it. Someone smoking in the hotel and came through the vents in my bathroom. No reflection on the hotel. Its supposed to be non smoking but people will do what they want.
