Secret Garden, king bed Cottage

Come and enjoy our adorable custom built cottage, with lovely deck and views. Private, with all amenities Secluded, quiet and yet only 10 minutes North from the Town of Whitefish. The Cottage is a custom built one bedroom self contained unit, with king bed on our 20 acre property. The unit sleeps a maximum of 4 ( King bed & double pull out couch) with private entrance and large deck with beautiful uninterrupted views of meadows, trees and mountains.

Custom construction, Clean and nicely furnished with King Bed, full bathroom and Kitchen/dining/living area. Pull out couch in Living room. Gas free standing fireplace, on thermostat. Ceiling Fan in bedroom and Kitchen/Living room. Deck with gas BBQ and outdoor seating. Slide screened front door,screened windows. The kitchen area is fully equipped including a microwave, range and oven and full sized fridge/freezer. Here, you will find dishes, pots, pans, utensils, toaster and coffee maker. There is WiFi and a Smart TV . Please note you need to sign in with your own account to access Apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc, there is no satellite/cable , or local channels available. WiFi is excellent and capable of Zoom calls and working from home. Full laundry, washer and dryer in bathroom.
There is on site parking.
Located near to National and State Forests for local easy access to MT Biking, Hiking, Running, Lake Swimming and XC Skiing. If you like to get the most out of your vacation without spending half the time researching, then use the maps, recommendations and a locals knowledge to fill you in on all the best places to visit.
Come and enjoy the endless outdoor recreation opportunities that Whitefish, Glacier National Park and Flathead Valley offer. Whether you like a non stop action packed vacation, a laid back leisurely lounge. or just wildlife viewing from your own deck, Whitefish has it all. Just 45 minutes to Glacier National Park.

A dog needs to be in it's own kennel if left alone, and are not allowed on the bed or furniture.No fenced yard, short dog walking trail on property.
Please do not allow your dog on the lawn and pick up after your dog. We have 1 medium sized dog ourselves-

This is one of the best cabins we've stayed in; very private, peaceful, and comfortable. Lovely property! The beautiful flowers and flower boxes reminded us of home. One morning we were pleasantly surprised to see a doe and her fawn right outside the living room window. We spent most of our time at GNP, 50 mins away, so our needs were very basic, but our hosts provided all the essentials for our stay. We especially appreciated the coffee and comfy bed. Private and comfortable

This cottage is tucked away in the woods and although it is Nextdoor to the property owners, it is very private. Martha was very helpful and always available to offer advice on what to do and how to get there. Our temperatures dropped one night and she was quick to contact us via messaging to make sure we knew how to turn on the heat. We saw deer every evening on our way back to the cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

Great cabin

If you are looking for a place that offers privacy but still close to town then this is the place! Even on the same property as the host you maintain privacy. The outdoor deck was nice. Not sure if the host was around as they didn’t come by but the check in was easy and the host did communicate with me via text or through the Vrbo app.

Cozy Cottage tucked in the pines!

Great place to stay about 20 mins outside downtown Whitefish. We were able to drive to Glacier and swim in whitefish lake a few times. Martha was great with saying a welcoming hello and providing us with some local things to do!

Cabin was the perfect size for two and a small dog. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom was comfortable and so was the bedroom. TV allowed for Netflix login. Internet was great speed. Only a few minutes from downtown Whitefish. It was everything that was advertised and that we expected. Thanks for a great stay :-)

Perfect little cottage!

Everything was clean and it a great location only about 11 minutes from Whitefish. We went into Glacier National Park quite a few times and the drive there was not bad. About 40 minutes. We would stay here again!

Wonderful, cozy, peaceful stay in forest

We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin for a few nights. The cabin is cozy, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed while we were there. While the cabin is located next to the owner's house, it felt very private and peaceful. The deck was lovely to sit and enjoy the sounds of the forest, and it was a quick and easy drive into the town of Whitefish. Thank you! We highly recommend this rental!

I would rate it a 5 but who puts the microwave on top of a full size refrigerator and the tv setup was totally inadequate. Why not at least have a Roku stick if you are not going to provide any free apps. The description of the setting was not accurate. There was no view of pastures, or mountains, the fir trees around the cabin were so thick and overgrown you couldn't even walk through them or see through them.With the dead branches and overgrown underbrush it was also a fire hazard. The picnic table was setting on wood chips because the grass/weeds around the cabin was thigh high and the deck was to small.

Beautiful, simple, clean, and memorable!

We chose to stay here on our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. It was just the right size and was a very pleasant space to return to after long days in the park. The only slight downside is the distance from Glacier, but the privacy was very nice. Friendly host and smooth experiences all around. Thank you Martha!

Absolutely Amazing!

Absolutely loved this little cottage! Listed as a one bedroom but the interior is very spacious. I immediately felt at home. The cottage is very well done. Martha thought of everything! Private and secluded, I was able to truly relax. Loved the close proximity to Whitefish! One word to describe my stay…PERFECT!

The perfect place for tranquility!

Upon arrival, Martha greeted us and provided some great advice on places to visit during our stay. The cabin is BEAUTIFUL! Our kind hosts provided us with fresh coffee and creamer for the week, such a thoughtful gesture. Everything about this place is perfect and secluded, exactly what we were looking for. Not too far from town but far enough to experience peace and quiet. Loved seeing the deer and turkey roam the area too! The cabin was clean, well stocked and very comfy bed. Perfect for us!!
