"Amazing staff and service "

"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. This is an old hotel but the rooms have been beautifully updated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only thing I can say anything negative about is the shower head. It sprayed a fine mist. Although it felt nice, you can’t wash the soap out of your hair properly. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would definitely recommend it to others. "

"The room was very clean! The only issue I had was with the toilet not flushing properly but that was solved with a couple of uses of a plunger. The room had a log cabin feel and was huge. I loved the frosted windows in the couch area. The bed was a bit harder than I am used to but still reasonably comfortable. Check in was seemless as I booked through Expedia. Would stay again"

"Overall it was very clean, comfortable, and affordable. The only drawback is that we were not aware that they did not have cable TV and the Smart Apps were a pain to try and use with no Oilers available game on TV. "

"I have stayed here several times in last 10 years but now it is under new management. They added my damage deposit to my room charge instead of a sepate transaction. I never got the deposit back. Have phoned them 4 times. I am now dealing with Visa to dispute transaction. Will never stay there again!!!!"

"Just as the name says - a cosy cottage at the lake! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the host had decorated the cottage for Christmas - even had a Christmas tree! They also supplied ample fire wood to have the indoor fire place going all day and well into the evenings. Great experience. Thank you."
