"Used for 14 guests, rooms and showers very clean, kitchen not the cleanest but was ok, some of the cookware in need of replacement, tho the spacing of the 3 cookers bemused me, (I did over 3 miles in the kitchen alone on the Saturday). The pool table was a bit of a disappointment, cues with no tips and very dirty cloth, maybe worth getting new cloth and then charging for damage, as easy to spot. Luckily weather was great so we sat outside, but would have been nice to have a tournament. Overall good accommodation, great communication, outstanding location. Will be booking again for next year, hopefully we can have that pool tournament."

There was everything we could need on arrival, including a very detailed welcome pack which was great as we didnâ€™t know the area too well, and some lovely surprises.The cottage was lovely and clean, and clearly extremely well thought through and loved by the owners. Bathroom and kitchen nice and modern, but with the overall character of the house maintained.We had 4 guests and it was the perfect size for us - the original character of the cottage means that a few floors are uneven and there are low ceilings and beams on the top two floors, but we didnâ€™t find that a trouble at all. One of the best Iâ€™ve stayed in."

The bed was so comfortable that I felt â€˜fully refreshedâ€™ each morning; and the view from the bedroom window was amazing - you could see for miles!There is a lot of road noise, but it didnâ€™t affect my â€˜holidayâ€™ at all. I hope to return later in the year."

Their warmth and care truly enhanced our stay.We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
