I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Traditional coaching inn with welcoming atmosphere and staff. Spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable room with countryside view. Bath only, no shower but this did not detract from my stay. Lovely meal in the cosy bar, with welcoming fire. Very helpful and personable staff who couldn't do enough. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Will stay again when in area.
