« The cottage was very attractive from the outside and the inside. Big trees around the property and one entrance had a handicapped ramp which was very helpful to me with mobility issues. « Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured....

« Warm and nice layout. Being -30 meant spending more time indoors. No drafts, after we closed two windows inadvertently left open by the cleaners! Host was responsive to many texts. »

« We had the best stay and repeatedly said how COZY AND CLEAN it was! Loved the attention to detail in the upscale decor but still felt like a cabin in the woods. Our dog loved it as well :) Only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer so we will be back! »

« I booked online for me, my mom and my daughter. It was supposed to be 2 full size beds when I submitted it, when we arrived there was only 1 king bed. Which eventually it wasn’t the end of the world. We initially called the number and Maureen answered and said she would call and see if someone would switch, but we ended up telling her it was fine. We ended up calling back because the AC wasn’t working and Maureen said the AC was broken and they don’t “make people aware of it”, even though online...
