![Some of the world’s only tree climbing lions can be found in Uganda, and we had the luck to experience it first hand! We saw this other 4x4 that had stopped to look at something so we approached it slowly and saw that there were a bunch of lions laying around in the high grass. The other guys told us they had been looking for a while but there was no activity, so they left. But we stayed, because we saw that there was a perfectly fine looking fig tree (the preferred kind of tree for tree climbing lions) just a short distance away. And what do you know – after a while they got up, stretched their legs, walked slowly up to the tree, and climbed up, one by one. "The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. "

"Fabulous place just watch out google maps puts it in the wrong place only a little but enough if arriving late in the dark. Service excellent have to arrange for food to be brought in for evening meal but breakfast as good as it gets"

"Me and my family had an amazing stay at Nyanja View. The location is peaceful with beautiful views, and the property is exactly as described. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, decorated in a luxurious African style. We spent our days relaxing by the pool and our evenings at the fireplace. The food was very good, and the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They truly made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Nyanja View to others."

"Nice properly with beautiful green natural surroundings. Staff for dining were very slow. Buffet items were finished or cold when we got there and no effort to refill. Lunch only given choice of a la carte while others had buffet with lot of choice.Hans kept refusing any orders we requested as vegetarian including making a sandwich which despite explaining thoroughly he got it wrong.
