« Perfect location for our half way stop on NC 500 so glad we had sunshine as the roads to the cottage would be challenging in bad weather. We did try to drive down to the beach for sunset but missed the turning and ended up stuck behind a herd of cows. It was good to light a fire have a drink and warm up a pizza. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we forgave it because everything else was so good ( and we do usually sleep on king size vspring which is difficult to match away from home) »

« The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic! »

« C'est un grand et bel hôtel vu de l'extérieur. L'intérieur rappelle les grands fastes d'antan, il y a même 1 salle de bal avec son parquet. On imagine parfaitement les kilts virevolter lors des gatherings ou autres cérémonies, c'est génial. Dans l'hôtel tout est fonctionnel mais on voit que " ça sate un peu ". Une rénovation serait à envisager pour certains mais pour nous, comme déjà écrit : on adore littéralement ! Une mention spéciale à CORINA qui a été hyper professionnelle et attentionnée...

"De passage pour rejoindre Inverness en venant de Ile de Skye. Route difficile et en mauvaise état ( attention aux trous et bas côté, très mauvais pour les pneus. Très peu de station essence ( prévoir de faire le plein des que vous pouvez). Le soleil est très timide en cette saison , mais la pluie 😱"
