Magnificent Views, 3,000 sqft home, 7 miles to West Yellowstone, Hot tub!

This charming vacation home is located just 7 miles west of West Yellowstone, MT, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Moose Crossing is a great spot for exploring the whole Yellowstone area. The home is surrounded by national forest trails for hiking, mountain biking, and snowmobiling. You are likely to see Moose, Elk and maybe even a bear in this incredible neighborhood!

Moose Crossing has radiant floor heating through the house. There is no air conditioning system in the home. "No Air conditioning you say?" It is difficult to find many homes in the area with air conditioning. AC is typically not needed as it cools off in the evening very comfortably, so everyone just opens the windows for the fresh evening mountain air! Even during the hottest weeks of summer, the highs may reach the 80's for a short time, but the temperature drops to the 40’s overnight.

The lodge has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The home fits 10 adults very comfortably. Between the 5 bedrooms there are: 2 King, 2 Queen, and 2 Twin sized beds. The upper level includes the Master bedroom and bath. The upstairs living area is an open concept living area with Kitchen, and 2 living room areas. The living room has spectacular views, a wood burning stove, and a 58 inch flat screen TV. Just off the kitchen is the very large deck with spectacular views of Lionhead Mountain and other peaks along the Continental Divide. 4 bedrooms & 2 baths are on the ground floor, known as an 'upside-down' floor plan.

In winter, you can snowmobile directly from the house and get onto hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Big Sky Ski area is only a 1 hour drive.

The Kitchen and dining area includes every amenity you may need for a meal. The grill is located on the impressive deck just off the kitchen. Wireless high speed internet available for all guests. We don't allow pets to keep our home pet hair and dander free.

We purchased the property in October 2019, so you could say it is under 'new management.' We have already made numerous upgrades to this already fantastic property. We just installed a 7 person hot tub and it feels amazing! We also have brand new flooring and furnishings. This place looks spectacular!

This wonderful area offers countless things to do outside of the lodge. You have hiking, shopping, restaurants, the Grizzly Discover Center, The West Yellowstone Adventure Park, fishing, wildlife viewing, boating, and horseback riding. The list keeps going.

We could go on about how extraordinary Yellowstone is, but you probably wouldn't be looking here if you haven't already heard!

Our current policy is no refund of your deposit with a few exceptions. After booking:
- You will have 72 hours to cancel for full refund.
-If you need to cancel after that, we will open up your dates, and if re-booked, issue a full refund.
-If your trip is effected by travel restrictions imposed by a government authority, we will also issue a full refund.
-We encourage travel insurance to cover trip cancellation due to illness.
