"The room was spacious with a sitting area and a small table and chairs for dining. The bed was very comfortable. Quiche for breakfast with fruit and muffins, ready to have at our own pace in the room. It was quiet. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. We had our own private patio right outside our room! We were within walking distance to a nice restaurant and, even better, walking distance from a really cool bookstore - Shaker Mill Books. We were just a short drive to Tanglewood, Hancock Shaker Village, Norman Rockwell Museum, Berkshire Botanic Gardens, The Guthrie Center, and a number of other places to visit. Our Innkeeper, Megan, was very helpful and gave us restaurant suggestions one evening. We took her advice and had dinner at Once Upon a Table in Stockbridge. Perfect! We wholeheartedly recommend The Shaker Mill Inn!"

"This was like staying in a two bedroom walk up in NYC only sooooo much bigger and better! We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of our Room! (The presidential suite). Everything was clean and tidy. Very pleasant decor. While there was not a place to get coffee down in the lobby area, there was a full kitchen where we could make our own. We ended up going to Starbucks down the road a bit. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Wonderful location also!!"
