Always a wonderful stay, clean, fresh room, comfy bed, great shower, TV, lovely continental breakfast in the room, cereals, breakfast bars, fruit, fresh milk, orange juice and yogurts in the fridge, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, replenished daily. Lovely staff. Can't fault it!
The second time that I have stayed here and it doesn't disappoint. A good value place with the added bonus of being able to get a decent meal at the pub without having to travel.
Nice clean room in a nice pub, fridge in the room was a nice touch. Designated guest parking. Staff were friendly & helpful, would definitely come back
It was a clean room with breakfast already there ready for the morning. The staff were really helpful. However be aware to check that the heated towel rail is set as it only came on overnight, and you'll need to ask for a hairdryer.
First time staying here and overall it was a great place to stay.
Nice big clean room and a decent tv.
Excellent host and will definitely be returning when next in the area.
Our satnav found it a little difficult to locate, but once there the welcome was good, and the room and facilities exceeded our expectations. Food and drink a little pricey, but this is the South East, so we expected it.
Great host, nice pub eith brilliant food. Very nice room and shower. Easy access to parking specifically for the rooms. A nice little bolthole if you're travelling through Kent.
OMG!!! What a hidden gem :) this place is so lovely and fresh. The pub attached is wonderful and staff are super helpful and friendly, we loved our stay and will definitely be booking again
One night transit stay.
The room was clean. The in room breakfast was very good with plenty of choice in cereal & milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, grain bar and apples. All for a very good price of £50 per room.
Wonderful little pub, very friendly manager who showed us to and around our rooms, very clean room and plenty to choose from for the free breakfast in the room.
Cosy little pub and great and friendly service there.
Only suggestion (and this is no complaint) is maybe include a pot noodle or two in the room (chicken and mushroom/beef and tomato 😁)
Thanks for the lovely stay!
Very friendly staff and a lovely clean room. And the food in the bar was just fine. Everything I needed for an overnight stay before getting the Eurotunnel the following morning.
Clean hotel room separate from the pub. It was a cheap price and comfortable with everything that you could need with a full sized kettle and TV.
It was a little dusty in some places and I got the feeling it hadn’t been stayed in a little while. Continental breakfast was good and enough to have something you liked. Overall would stay again.
Always a wonderful stay at this lovely place. Clean and comfortable room/bed. Delicious selection of continental breakfast in your room, fridge to keep milk and juice fresh. Breakfast items topped up daily. The food and service in the pub is exemplary. The manager is an excellent host who clearly works very hard.
We love staying here and can't recommend it highly enough. It's a stones throw from the railway station so easy access into central London too.
Excellent value for money. The 2 staff members we met were both polite and helpful. The cleaning lady went over and above to help us when I left my phone charger in the room. Really appreciated.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Fantastic staff and service. The food portion size in the pub was generous, and the breakfast tray was a nice touch. Unfortunately, in the room itself the air con was broken, the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable, the decor was dated, and the blinds were not blackout. I was awoken early by the bins being emptied.
We arrived shattered, checked in easily with a lovely member of staff and was shown to our room. My fault entirely, in my haste to book I didn't pick up the room was located at the back of the pub - there was a fair amount of noise until gone 11pm (Saturday) - wouldn't normally be an issue but with an early start that day and the following day it wasn't ideal. Breakfast choices were left in the room (cereals, porridge, yoghurt, granola bar, fruit and orange juice) which was perfectly fine and appreciated. There were a couple of marks on the bedding - clearly something like black ink, nothing suspicious and for me the bed was a bit too soft (we all have different tastes). The room (1) had everything needed, also windows on two sides and a great fan to counter the heat. Would we stay again - yes, if we were not reliant on sleep and an early start.
Had a really good stay here, everything you needed was in the room which was very clean, very warm and shower was excellent.
Good choice for breakfast as well and meals in the pub where of a very high standard.
We will definitely return to the King and Queen 😀
