My fault entirely, in my haste to book I didn't pick up the room was located at the back of the pub - there was a fair amount of noise until gone 11pm (Saturday) - wouldn't normally be an issue but with an early start that day and the following day it wasn't ideal. Breakfast choices were left in the room (cereals, porridge, yoghurt, granola bar, fruit and orange juice) which was perfectly fine and appreciated. There were a couple of marks on the bedding - clearly something like black ink, nothing suspicious and for me the bed was a bit too soft (we all have different tastes). The room (1) had everything needed, also windows on two sides and a great fan to counter the heat.
