"The property is pet-friendly, which is a big plus. I really like the furniture, and the easy in-and-out access makes the stay very convenient. The only thing I missed was having breakfast on-site, but honestly, I prefer paying a lower room rate and choosing breakfast elsewhere rather than paying more for a room that includes a limited carb heavy breakfast option. "

"Man it was awesome. Felt like home away from home. We literally had like a perfect beach nook. Watching the lake through a thunderstorm when we arrived to waking up to a super beautiful sunrise that followed with an absolute gorgeous day at the lake. The decks/balcony gave way to plenty of lounging in the sun while the hammock let us sway forever in the breeze, listening to the water. Lots of birds tweeting by & this sweet local feline who kept us company while we fished(caught 1 catfish), built sand castles, danced in the huge yard & hunted for pretty rock/sea glass treasures! At dusk my husband made a supreme roasty toasty fire in the pit for us & we got to see the full red moon come up! Loved that we could relax here as a 3 piece family comfortably. The kitchen was well kept(the whole house really) & having the grill to make delicious meats was also legit. A/C workes great & we appreciated the ol' dvds too!-glad there was a rake in the shed to clear a patch of beach for my son to play!Thankyou for hosting our family! Will definitely book here again"

"The room wasn't clean dirty laundry,bed sheets, towel cloths insects flying me and my fiance stepped in and wasn't in there 10mins in the room when we decided to go back to check in and the staff members were real rude when being polite about the room inconveniences and asked about returning refund policy one crew check-in member replied on a policy of in the room more then 20-30mins that was no proof of that i could only get back half of what I paid for 1 nights pay instead of 2 and I've have fraud activity on my card I paid for the reservations for the rooms ever since I have recites for I've reported to my bank and pending dispute on going investigations to retrieve my fundings that are missing"

"We really enjoyed the outside part of this place. The inside left much to be desired. The most “castle like” bed was up a spiral staircase and no restroom. All of the beds were in a place that made it difficult to get to unless you were a small child like my nephew. We had to sleep on the 2 pullout couches in case someone needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night because it felt too dangerous to descend at night. There was a bandaid practically glued to one of the blankets we planned to use and the couch mattresses were quite dirty. I understand the location and the “old castle” vibe but it really could use more thorough and deep cleans and new mattresses. Another thing that was a bit too much was that we had someone come to the door at 9:30 at night and knock as we were all in bed and it did scare us quite a bit. It was the host that wanted to give a beanie baby to my nephew because we were staying for his birthday, but 9:30 PM is late for a 4 year old and it was very unexpected and a little scary. While we saw flaws, my nephew did have An amazing time with the theme of the castle. He even had his knights cape and inflatable sword and shield. We roughed it out for him, but it truly does need better upkeep."
