    West Jefferson, NC - One-of-a kind magnificent log home w/Australian cypress floors, gourmet kitchen, marble tile w/custom accents, and two river rock fireplaces (great room & den). There's even bear statues carved into the massive logs. Top of the world views are yours as well as privacy -yet only 5 min from West Jefferson. The main level features three bedrooms & 2 baths - including the large master suite w/TV, & bath with oversized Jacuzzi tub & steam sauna! One guest bedroom features queen bed & sitting area, other guest bedroom offers two twins. Downstairs is a den with f/p, pool table, TV/DVD, two more bedrooms (2 twins & 1 queen), third full bath with stand up shower, double sinks, and a separate laundry room. For the ultimate in vacationing comfort & pleasure, Picture Perfect fits perfectly! Only 25 min to Boone, 35 to Blowing Rock, & Valle Crucis. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

Fantastic views from the whole house. The deck was amazing. The house had great use of space. The only thing I would change is maybe more blankets and outdoor sitting. These small things don’t change the overall 5/5. The cabin is exactly what you’d picture as a mountain getaway.

picture perfect was a great house for our family. There’s plenty of rooms, great kitchen and fantastic view. The location is great as it’s not too far from downtown. I highly recommend staying there. We plan to go back.

Beautiful property and a great location

The house has a beautiful view and is very conveniently located to West Jefferson, Grandfather Mountain, Boone and all that area has to offer. We love the wood interior and beautiful stone fireplae. The house is comfortable and well appointed.

Great views

Lots of space for a large group. We enjoyed West Jefferson. The grocery store is close as is the downtown with several restaurants. The house needs the same number of outdoor chairs as it sleeps. There are 3 chairs on deck and one on the upper deck.

The only complaint we had was the house cleaners failed to leave us with any dishwasher detergent or toilet paper so we had to run to the grocery store to pick up some!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this home for 6 times and enjoyed the spacious accomadations it offer close to golf courses and a nice little mountain town. It offers beautiful Mountain View’s. This last time we visited we had problems with no water so you should check before you come to make sure there is adequate water from their well.

Buck Mountain

The cabin was rustic and clean, with a spectacular view of the mountains. However, I was upset to arrive and find hundreds of dead centipedes on the front porch and both decks. The first thing I did was sweep all those locations. And while the cabin sleeps 10, there were only 4 exterior chairs for guests to relax and enjoy the view. A few blankets would have been appreciated. Otherwise, our short stay was lovely. Thank you.

Location is Great. Interior very nice. Generally clean.Notes on every light switch would be helpful. Exterior needs attention to cleaning off dead ants worms and (1) mouse, replace bags of sand (?), possible termite damage to a lower log on deck. Also time to refresh stain/paint. Additional outdoor seating would be nice. The additional living area is a huge plus! Great Rental. Thanks

The kitchen is well stocked and everyone was very comfortable. Loved the views and location. Renting from Carolina Mountain couldn't have been better. When we needed a larger house they were able to put us in Picture Perfect without any problem. Just a note - there are no blow dryers - so better bring your own..
