The awe-inspiring beauty of the Welsh countryside engulfs you when staying in this exceptional lodge. Complete with French doors, picture windows and a perfect balcony for sitting out and sipping a drink; you really can soak up the peace and tranquillity of Powys throughout your stay here. The property is located in a quiet, rural destination, leaving you with only the sounds of birdsong, wildlife and the closest babbling stream to soak in as you unwind indoors or out. Offering the perfect setting for romance, the place sleeps two guests seeking some quality time together.  
  
Whilst the wood-panelled exterior of this cottage may look simple, the interior has been updated to feature contemporary styling and ever-comfortable furnishings. With large windows framing exceptional views, the open-plan living area puts cooking, dining and unwinding in one appealing space. Relax in front of the Smart TV at the end of a long day, or step out onto the balcony and get lost in conversation. When the evening draws to a close, the warm and cosy double bedroom offers a restful retreat, with a shower room just next door completing this stylish, enchanting property’s offering.  
  
Wander or bike along pretty footpaths to reach your nearest village, the Montgomeryshire community of Llanerfyl (1 mile). Situated in the Banwy Valley with the river running directly through the village, this picture-perfect spot is one to start or end your Mid Wales hikes in. A little further away, discover footpaths and woodland trails in the Dyfnant Forest (6 miles), known for its lush scenery and rolling valley landscapes.
