« A fabulous hotel. We had a very warm welcome and the owners couldnt do enough to accommodate us. The room was beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Nice big mugs for tea and coffee aand spares in the corridor if needed which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was continental (cooked only available on the Sunday morning) but was sufficient and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Neil and Heather »

« Brilliant accommodation for anyone requiring one in the area. We stayed for wedding at a local venue and we couldn't fault it at all. Rooms were just what we needed and our hosts Sue and Clive couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful! Would definitely considering staying again if needed for the area again. Certainly plan to have dinner in the pub as well, very good value, very tasty and amazing portion sizes. Would only note, the room we stayed in called 'Fakenham', only annoyance is Wi-Fi...

« The room was very clean and comfortable, and the owners friendly and accommodating. The property was strategically located for our activities, including Sandringham, Houghton Hall and Gardens, and the Hunstanton through to Wells Next to the Sea area. It was convenient to our ancestral homes in Swaffham and Deopham. Went to the Samphire just over 1/2 mile down the road for a nice dinner. Picked up a few items at the shop across the street. Met some friendly couples at breakfast. »

« A special place just bursting with character. I stayed in the old cart shed which was spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was luxurious and delicious. The only negative thing i can say is that wasnt a vegetarian choice on the evening set menu. »

« Was a really lovely pub, very welcoming, great service and the evening meal was to a very high standard. The manager moved us to a seafront view which was a nice touch, bed comfy, and well stocked tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was 5 star, highly recommended. »

« Good location on the edge of town, convenient for the buses along the North Norfolk coast. Short walk into the town. Ample car parking on the street or in the yard. Room was not overlarge but was clean and had everything needed and the decor was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental type breakfast ample and varied. Altogether, a very positive experience and we would be happy to book again when we come to Sheringham. »
