Loved it!

This was the perfect place for my group and our needs. Enough beds with options; a dark, quiet room in the basement, a shared room with a two full beds, the top floor king size suite, even a pull out sofa! All useful accommodations for a party of 5 or more. To top it off, the roof top hot tub with a city skyline view was incredible! It was a great location too, in walking distance to our venue in South Philly. Everything worked out perfectly, and I'm grateful that this option was available. Thank you!

When we first arrived around 12:00 p.m., the woman working the front desk was incredibly kind and welcoming. I unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she was friendly, professional, and happily stored our luggage while explaining that check-in would be around 4:00 p.m. We completely understood and appreciated her hospitality, so we left to explore Philadelphia. When we returned around 3:49 p.m. I walked up to the front desk to see if our room happened to be ready, and the gentleman working the evening shift told me, very specifically, to "sit down and wait until 4:00."I did exactly that without arguing. What made the situation frustrating was watching other guests who arrived after me get checked in while I was still sitting there waiting as instructed. At exactly 4:00 p.m., I got back in line and was finally checked in. No explanation or apology was offered. It wasn't about waiting a few extra minutes, it was about the inconsistency and the way I was treated. The daytime associate was warm and welcoming, while the evening staff came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude. The bathroom was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned to the standard I would expect. A clean room is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, so this was disappointing. The location is the hotel's biggest advantage, but inconsistent customer service, a dirty bathroom, and excessive noise made this stay disappointing. I expected much better and, unfortunately, would not stay here.
