You didn’t even get out of your truck. Called me on the phone from the parking lot to Cancel. I suggested that you call Expedia since that’s how you made your reservation and you claimed you could not find their number so I left my guest and walked back into the house to look up your reservation and cancel it for you while you were on the phone. I informed you there would be a cancellation penalty because you made your reservations four hours before you said in my parking lot to cancel. You also agreed to the terms and conditions when you made your reservation through Expedia. Miraculously 20 minutes later you found Expedia‘s phone number and called them to demand I refund cancellation. I said no hung up and about my business. And a few minutes later Expedia called again from a different person stating you told them you saw a drug deal in my parking lot. So which one is the truth? I’m sure the Georgia real estate commission will be interested in the report that I sent to them about your ethics.

Let's be honest. You chose my property because my rates were the "cheapest" for the weekend. There were rooms available in the valley the weekend you stayed but they were anywhere between 75-150 higher than my rate. I know because since I was sold out I was finding rooms for other travelers who didn't plan in advance. Yes, sometimes bugs get into the rooms. They are stink bugs and if they look like Lady bugs we call them "Halloween Beetles." Those rascals give us fits during the first cold snaps of the year. It's good you were able to get rid of them since I wasn't made aware there was a problem. Also, yes, there are other people staying here Two families are still here because their homes were destroyed in the floods earlier in the year and 3 crews are here working at the Epsom salt plant (If you are familiar with Epsom Salt you know). They are all sociable and unpretentious. It's unfortunate you were "uncomfortable" but some people are just like that around "other people." I'm glad you were in the valley and hope you enjoyed your visit with the exception of my place of course. I'm sure with better planning you will be able to find much more suitable accommodations on your future visits.

You are completely clueless. My rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests. The only thing you complained about Saturday night was the trash you left inside the room while you were gone made the room smell. I invited you to take your trash out and use the extra bags in the bottom of the van to replace it. I informed you we do not enter your room due to COVID risks during your stay.

When I open for the season in April 2022 there will no smoking inside any rooms. Previous experience with smokers has taught me they will not honor my request to smoke outside of my non-smoking rooms. I recall your hesitation when I reminded you the downstairs rooms are non-smoking and you would be required to smoke outside. As far as help cleaning my rooms is concerned you have mis quoted by statement. It goes as such: I have tried to hire help but they either can’t clean the way I want or they don’t show up. So I would rather clean my own rooms and put the money in my pocket and take a trip somewhere rather than waste my tine and money on someone who can’t do the job right.

I guess I should have just put you in the room you booked even though the bathroom ceiling had to be ripped out due to a leak. Imagine how pissed you would have been then. Lesson learned….I should have just cancelled your reservation and let you find a room on your own.

LOL. Interesting. I clean my own rooms. I do my own laundry and I make all my beds. Odd, you made no comments to me during your “stay” about your “issues” yet here you are anonymously. Thank you for the laugh of the day.
