We are very experienced travelers and we would rate this as ine of the best homes in which we have stayed. Once you get use the narrow steep driveway you will enjoy the excellent views from the large front porch. The home is very comfortable and very clean. We loved our stay!
Cabin is beautiful and located a convenient trip into civilization with some great restaurants. GPS took us on an extra tour of the area (our fault) and the one-lane road to the house made one of our group nervous - but after she saw the view, she said it was worth it! Lol Nice weekend getaway to read on a rocker watching the mountain mists!
We are absolutely in LOVE with this cabin! From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by its stunning design and thoughtful upgrades. The warm welcome with a bottle of champagne, a sweet note, and chocolates was such a beautiful and personal touch—truly above and beyond! Every detail of the cabin exudes luxury and charm, from the comfortable beds to the jaw-dropping master bathroom—I seriously wanted to take it home with me! And the views? Simply breathtaking! This was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to return
This cabin was easy to get to! It was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed the views and loved the fireplace on the porch. We did not have heat or air for about 36 hours. We called maintenance and they had an HVAC company come out to fix it. The master shower was beautiful! However, with the four guests we had, the two showers were only warm for five minutes before the water turned freezing. We had to stagger our showers. We had it figured out by the end of the trip. The host was great and very responsive! It was convenient to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Perfect location. Easy check-in process and it was clean and beautiful! Would definitely stay again.
When we reserved this location, our research said it would be good. It lied - it was great! Directions - though unneeded - were spot on; great to have if your navigation is not detailed enough.
The home was immaculate when we arrived, with instructions that allowed us to quickly make it our own.
There were multiple Wi-Fi passwords in various messages, but we quickly figured out which were the correct one.
The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs (basic), and probably for more complex needs as well.
It was so much fun watching the early-morning weather traverse the valley in front of us, with its tendrils of clouds slowing cascading down the slopes in front of us.
So happy we reserved another week this fall for foliage season, very easy to do!
Highly recommend this as a great base for any exploration of the Smokey Mt Nat'l Park.
This is a lovely, perfectly maintained home. When we walked in, there was already a decorated Christmas tree set up for us - that was a wonderful way to begin our stay.
There are hardly any negative things to say about this abode. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy.
The location was convenient to Waynesville. Fortunately, we had great weather and never had any issues with the very steep road that takes you to the house. However, if we would have had snow and or ice, the roadway to the house could have been a challenge.
The only real issue we had was when a bear entered the house through the back door. It was a monster. So be sure to keep the back door locked at all times.
Just kidding about the bear!
We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it you.
Happy travels !!!

House was very clean and beautifully decorated. The only problem we encountered was very limited hot water. No hot water for our check in day and the morning after. Really nice electrician came out and unfortunately the water still only heated for about 10 minutes after. Plumber was sent out and it never got better. Made it very hard to get two adults and two kids bathed every day on top of dishes and laundry. Wish we would have been compensated but my request was ignored. Hopefully they get that fixed for the next guests. Otherwise a beautiful property.
The house was wonderful. We had everything in there we needed. The beds were very comfortable. There was a fire pit on the front porch that was perfect and the views were beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone. I also would like to add just make sure you have a four-wheel drive or six cylinder. Highly recommended spot if you want to relax. But it is also close enough to go to Cherokee if you like to. Overall wonderful wonderful
This was one of the best rentals we've ever experienced! So much thought was given to all aspects of the property. All bedrooms were well equipped. The kitchen lacked NOTHING and the bar had absolutely everything a mixoligist would want or need. It was a great place for our family to gather. A great mountain setting and only 15 minutes to the grocery and starbucks! It was even decorated for Christmas! We stayed for 6 nights and it felt like home!We did struggle with the lack of a bathroom door in the master, but that might not bother others. We highly recommend this property!
All rooms were clean. Office space provided an area for us to conduct virtual meetings. Internet was much faster than expected and cell service was excellent.
The location is very convenient and accessible but still feels quiet and remote. The cabin was very clean and attractively decorated as well as being very well stocked. The welcome wine, popcorn, and coffee were a nice surprise! Lovely, lovely view from the porch! We would rent again!!
We loved this property - modern cabin, very clean, thoughtfully stocked with necessities and great location! It is 30 mins from entrance to Park along beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway. It is close to downtown Waynesville which has a quaint downtown with nice shops and restaurants.
This is a very nice property, it has everything you would need, very clean and nice layout. The location was central to where we were visiting other family members that live there. The driveway is steep and tight at the top but it worked for us. Beautiful large front porch with plenty of seating and nice view. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
Absolutely one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at
Outstanding communication. Place exactly how it’s described on line plus extras. Loved the location and how clean everything was.
The beds are so comfortable and the gas fireplace (puts out great heat) inside was an extra plus after being at the ski resort all day.
Thank you !
Also loved the gift left to us by the host! 😀
Despite the entire area being devastated by Hurricane Helene, the owner, and their management company, Yonder, refused to allow us to cancel our reservation.
Overall, a nice house with a few minor improvements needed, but we will not rent from Yonder again.
Due to a death in the family, we inquired 3 weeks prior to check-in about rescheduling or canceling our reservation (willing to pay a fee). The 1st reply stated they have a responsibility to the owners and why they suggest travel insurance - which would NOT have covered the situation anyway. A couple more exchanges and the same exact reply was sent as the 1st. They had zero compassion and were unwilling to work with us at all.
Some improvement suggestions:
All lights inside and outside are extremely bright and intrusive. All lamps (including bedside) use extreme white color bulbs. The only "comfortable" light was the microwave light over the stove and a night light in one of the bedrooms. The porch string lights are a great idea, but we couldn't be out there very long with the lights on before it was bug-ville on the whole porch. We left the front door porch light on while family came over to visit for an hour or so and when they left, it was a barrage of bugs coming into the house and to get through. We've rented a number of places in the same area (even same mountain side) without experiencing this.
The comforters looked nice, but were too thick/warm, even with AC temps set low. Disrupted sleep due to going between the comforter on or just a sheet.
Provided TP is horrid industrial grade. There are much better options still safe for septic.
Very clean and great location.. Close to Maggie valley which is a neat town without the crowds like in pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Cleaning fees were a little high in my option. Looking forward to going back soon.
