Beds comfortable, a little on the soft to medium side if you are looking to gauge that. We would definitely rent here again. 6-7 miles from skyline Drive south entrance for hikers. The owner was very responsive throughout the booking process, prior to and during our stay. During our 9 day stay, we explored the area, visiting Staunton (charming town with cute stores and cafes), Charlottesville (Monticello and Highland presidential estates, Trump Winery, Carter Mountain Orchard, UVA campus), Richmond (VFMA, Maymont, Agecroft), Roanoke (Taubman art museum, Mill Mountain Zoo), Natural Bridge, Lexington, Grand Caverns, and a few hikes. It would also make for a great base for exploring the mountain scenery of Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway, both only a few miles from the house, though they were closed during our stay due to "snow and ice".
