"Staff were overall unhappy looking, and certainly not welcoming. I'm also disappointed that there was no food offer available. The bar no longer serves food and the restaurant appeared closed. On the plus side, the wifi is fast and reliable. "

"The whole farm house was lovely. The bedroom was huge and very clean, the bed comfy, the big victorian style bathtub was a great feature in the bedroom and very nice after a long days drive. The made to order breakfast was very tasty and the Owner was very friendly and accommodating. The area looked beautiful but didn't manage any exploring as it was just an overnight stop so we will definitely be back. "

Great location but ive stayed in better in Carlisle that have been cheaper .also the carpark is tiny..my husband is disabled and had to park 400 yards away on both night's "

"Fantastic property. Let down by lack of pans, casserole dishes and general kitchen equipment. Also, a welcome pack of a pack of shortbread biscuits and some tea bags was the worst we have ever had at a holiday cottage. It would have been better not leaving them. Disappointing."
