Summary:  
Experience DC like a local! Sojourn in this vibrantly designed home in the LeDroit Park/Shaw neighborhood, NW DC. This home is a 720 sq ft condo with one bedroom, two bathrooms, a den, and has an in-unit washer/dryer. The bedroom has a queen sized bed which can sleep two comfortably. Sink into the pull-out couch in the den and watch your favorite shows on the projector, or get some work done at the desk. The neighborhood is bike and walking-friendly, though parking passes may be available.  
  
The Space:  
Our one-bedroom + den, two-bathroom condo is perfect for tourists, business travelers, remote workers, or both. Located on the second floor of a four-unit building, you'll have our entire 720 square foot condo to yourself. Located in LeDroit Park/Shaw, NW DC, our home offers a peaceful retreat.  
  
\- Kitchen: Fully equipped for cooking enthusiasts, with a 4-burner gas stove with center griddle, Instant Pot, coffee grinder, and stove-top espresso maker. Coffee and tea are available for guests.  
\- Bedroom: Comfortable queen bed with adjustable dimming lights. The closets are locked, but dressers and space to hang your clothes are available.  
\- Den: Multipurpose space with a projector, fold-out couch, foldable desk, and access to streaming accounts (Max, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime). No TV, but the projector with Bluetooth speakers is easy to use with our instructions.  
\- Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a shower and tub, stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries.  
\- Laundry: In-unit washer and dryer.  
\- Living Area: Bright with natural light, decorated with unique art pieces and indoor plants. Many games are available for you to enjoy in the space.

Our home is contactless, seamless and easy self check in. A code will be set for you and shared before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
U Street hums with memory. Every block a verse in the city’s song, every storefront and mural a reflection of D.C.’s vibrant soul. Once called "Black Broadway," this stretch of cityscape has long been a cradle of culture, rhythm, and revolution. The echoes of jazz still linger in the air, where Duke Ellington’s legacy lives on through hidden speakeasies and street performers spilling notes into the night. Days begin with a strong coffee and a seat outside, where the neighborhood slowly wakes beneath colorful rowhouses and streetcars buzzing by. Vintage shops, art galleries, and late-night diners line the sidewalks, each one with a story folded into its walls. And when the sun dips low, U Street comes alive in a different light: laughter spilling from rooftop bars, the scent of global spices drifting from tucked-away kitchens, and live music pulsing from behind heavy velvet curtains. Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

Driving to your Sojourn? Please inquire with the Sojourn team to make a parking reservation to ensure your arrival is seamless and stress-free. Sojourn and the property owner are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury involving your vehicle or its contents. We cannot guarantee the safety or security of any parking location and disclaim liability for any incidents. Thank you for your understanding.  
  
Pet Policy  
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

The fireplace is a charming decorative feature, meant to add ambiance rather than be used.
