Great property as a whole .excellent bedding and towels.itchen was well stocked.urniture in good shape .unit 302 in cabin 3 was right above train tracks .I ask how often the trains ran after dark. Only twice a day was the answer.theres a train every hour all night.dont worry they supply earplugs . Insert sarcasm here.hot tub is unreliable in that unit as well.
We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on Friday. We came into Hermann from the West, so we drove down to Jefferson City from Columbia and the took highway 94 into Hermann, it is a river road and well worth the drive.
Really fine accommodations.
Outstanding view.
Luxury amenities.

Great location. View from our room was excellent of the Missouri River and sunset. The host was very helpful. The room had everything you may want and was well stocked. I would recommend this cottage to anyone.
What a beautiful place to stay. They provide everything you would need. Please be aware that a lot of restaurants and wineries are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, wish we would have known this when planning our trip.
The area was quiet/very peaceful. Loved the cottage. It was spaceaious and clean with individualized thermostat control. The multiple fireplaces, steam shower, in room jacuzzi, and deck hot tub were our favorite amenities. Those were the reasons we booked at the Hermann Inn. Snacks and drinks for us to consume during our stay were waiting for us when we arrived. The local people were really nice and friendly. There wasn't a lot to do in the area for entertainment. But its a cute little town to visit if you just want to enjoy nature and visit a few wineries. And many are closed on Mondays. Even a few that list open on Mondays on their website. My only 2 complaints are 1. The protective sheet on the bed had some stains on it. Had to remove the sheet and fitted sheet to see them. This is why I typically take my own sheets when I travel. It appeared it may have been laundered but....and 2. When booking on Expedia the pic of the cottage deck was different than actual property. But I went directly to facility webpage and viewed their pics prior to purchasing. As well as Expedia doesn't state their fee does not include the use of the hot tub, hot gourmet breakfast and welcoming tray. Thankfully the property notified us and we were able to add it on for an additional fee. Also I would recommend checking the prices through both Expedia and the facility and compare prior to booking. ... Overall if you're considering visiting the area Hermann Inn Cottages I highly recommend.
A beautiful property. Unfortunately we were met by a dead armadillo (under the waterfall that is not functioning) and multiple dead koi fish (in the cute little pond they have at the entrance, but not cute when you look in it)
Besides the dead animals, the stay was pleasant and staff was friendly.
We stayed 3 nights, and were told s’mores were available and a fire would be lit every night for them. Not a single night did they light it, and by “s’mores time” all the staff had already gone home for the day.
The property is nice and staff is great but in my opinion the property is way overpriced for what you receive and everything is an extra charge. I just expect more than a few sodas and other basic items included for $350 a night cabin. It was in wine country and they did not even give you a bottle of local wine!
The hot tub had grime and paint chips. Almost every wall had huge gaps in the corners. I think the suite we stayed in was private and probably really cool back in 2003 when it was last updated. I think for $400 a night I should be getting more than a nice view and a burnt cookie.
Beautiful drive up and property. Greetings from Allie was fun and professional. She was there for everything we needed. The suite is beautiful, the fireplace was on, and the view is amazing. I definitely recommend a getaway here.
