It is only 1-1.5 miles from most DC sites. We saw some lovely homes on our way out in all directions. Since the unit is downstairs, there is some upstairs noise (old building) but it was quiet at bedtime. The common area furniture was not comfortable for relaxing after a day of walking. The daybed included cushions that leaned against the door that separated the rooms; it was unstable and did not provide good TV viewing. I recommend the purchase of a couple of cushioned chairs or a loveseat with a back. We requested an extra blanket upon arriving. There was some back and forth texts with the host questioning why we needed the blanket and it was never provided. The kitchen was adequately stocked. I appreciated the extra shelving in the bedroom and bathroom. There was a nice front window with seating around it to view the street. There was also a small patio where we sat one evening with our wine. Overall a nice stay and we enjoyed the DC sites! ##### Sharmila L.
