Loved this hotel!! It was so close to everything - museums, restaurants, train, etc. The lobby looked a bit dusty, but I’m guessing that’s from the fall leaves and wind. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again

Great hotel, great area, friendly staff, but sheets were stained. Didn't realize until 10pm
Also, we didn't have any extra rolls of toilet paper and we ran out. This also happened on our stay

The location is unbeatable and the staff was really nice and cordial.
The hotel is conveniently located in downtown DC near lots of restaurants and bars. There wasn't much of a main lobby but the rooms and amenities were nice. They have a great fitness room and indoor pool. I would stay here again.
The place was in shambles...it seems the staff just doesn't care. Messy, worn, and depressing.

Excelente ubicación
La ubicación es la mejor, cerca de los sitios de interés restaurantes y zona comercial. El hotel esta en buenas condiciones, aunque podría estar mejor, un poquito antiguo; a pesar de ello volvería sin pensarlo!
We enjoyed our stay! The hotel being close to the green line metro was perfect for our visit to Nationals stadium. It will be even better for our future plans to see a Capital's hockey game. The parking attendants and front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful!
We were very happy with our accomodations; the only thing we found annoying was that the entry to the bathroom on the carpet there was no padding under the carpet so you would be walking on what felt like plywood as it would make a noise when you stepped on it.
The hotel was very close to everything.
The staff was very nice and even let us check in several hours early which was much appreciated after a long flight.
Lots of affordable food choices right around hotel without having to spend alot of money.

My go-to hotel in the area
Great location, easily accessible to major DC attractions either on-foot or by Metro (which is very nearby). Staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before and will again!
The hotel is conveniently located near parking garages and across the Smithsonian American Art Gellery (portrait gallery). The staff were pleasant. We stayed for a single night only (Saturday) and paid $129 plus taxes and fees. The beds had good pillows and the blankets were covered with nice clean top sheets. I would stay there again in the future. (Valley parking was available, sign said $50 per night). We parked on the same block at a garage next to Ford Theater and paid $15/day
Location was fantastic - close to the mall and walking distance to White House, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops and attractions! The room was very clean.
Full sized beds are small, I overlooked that the bedsize was not queen at booking and sharing a bed full with a squirmy kid equals less sleep than needed to walk miles.
Valet parking was less than fully attentive! - no assistance when arriving and departing and it was $59 per day.
Restaurant in hotel was good food but again the host and server were not very attentive either - lots of empty but not cleared tables had me wanting to leave while waiting but others in my party insisted on staying and apologizing later since we waited for everything including ordering refill drinks. I refused to go back again even though our daughter wanted to as the salad she shared with my husband had her very impressed!
I would probably look at this hotel the next time we visit DC but will def look at others as well as nothing other than location was stellar.

« Executive » room without any view, mater bedroom was dark during the day. Extra bed from the sofa bed was bad quality, we had to move the mattress on the floor for my son.

This was a nice location to stay in the city. The rooms were very clean, private...we never heard anyone else.

Great location. Neat and clean rooms. Only negative point is that there is no free parking on premises and their valet parking costs around $60 per night!

DC Day Trip
Nice hotel, conveniently located. The check-in process was smooth and easy. My room was clean and well appointed. My only complaint is that the reception on the tv was horrible. Family members down the hall had great reception. I did not attempt the wi-fi.
Across the street from the National Portrait Gallery and the International Spy Museum.
Great location! Close to the Metro. Great restaurants in walking distance.

Pros
- Friendly Staff
- Location
- Comfortable bed
Cons
- Noisy bathroom fan
- Dirty windows
- Chemical smell at the pool (too strong irritating to the eyes)
This hotel was splendid! We traveled with our two daughters and each member of the staff was friendly and helpful. We will always stay here in the future!
