Espace propre et facilitant pour le transport

L’endroit est fort approprié pour visiter le centre ville de Washington DC. L’accès aux transports en communs à proximité est bien établi et le stationnement sur la rue est gratuit et disponible. L’endroit est propre et accueillant. Pour les princesses du sommeil, on entend les résidents du haut à partir de 6:00 et le lit grince un peu. La cuisine est bien équipée. Il y a deux airs climatisés muraux (une dans la chambre et une dans le salon). Le quartier est très paisible. Merci pour le séjour !!

We had a wonderful stay, very vibrant neighborhood. Despite the gov shutdown we had lots to do. We visited for a wk and did plenty. The neighborhood is walkable. We walked to several restaurants, ice cream, and coffe shoppes. We also were only abt an 10 min walk to Abraham Lincoln Cottage, beautiful grounds.We were an hr and half away from an entrance to shenandoah national park (but Rock park creek which is literally around the corner from the property is also beautiful.We ventured out to Harpers Ferry WV (storybook town with historic significance of the civil war) We were able to hike on the Appalachian trail right from the town. The town also happens to be where the Potomac and shenandoah river converge.We then traveled to Gettysburg in PA also about 1hr and 15mins away. Even tho we could not enter any of the government buildings or many of the museums, we were able to go anytime on the grounds. We decided to go at night, the traffic was much less and the memorials at night are beautiful We left feeling very fulfilled despite the circumstances. The rental is also reasonably priced and communication was good. Please keep in mind the owners live up stairs so you will hear them occasionally. Also the neighbors dog barks quite a bit throughout the day but we weren't bothered by it much at all.

Second trip

This was our second time to stay here, and it was just as delightful as the first! We loved the closeness to the bus stop (which went straight to the Metro). The Metro is also about a 10 min walk away. The neighborhood is quiet but active-people walk around and it has a safe feeling to it. The hosts are super quiet upstairs and have made it easy for you to find your way around with guidebooks and a binder of tips!

Everything was clean. The air freshener smell was unfortunately strong. No bathmat; I felt bad leaving the floor wet after a shower. Silverware was strangely thin. I heard lots of the upstairs' daily and evening sounds through the ceiling. Mini-splits were terrific. Nice neighborhood. Thank you.

Best weekend trip to DC

Great location and great stay!! The welcome guide is so thoughtful and very helpful. I will admit when the owners first came down to do their laundry it scared me, but its outside of the unit. Parking was easy no issues. The unit is cute and quaint. If I could make a suggestion, maybe put an air purifier in the basement to mitigate the stuffy feeling when you first walk in. Other than that, it was awesome. Only about 20 mins from the airport and to the monuments! Great stay! Thank you so much again!!

Perfect walking neighborhood

We loved this location. My husband had some meeting s downtown and I worked from Vrbo during the day. Very safe walkable neighborhood. We enjoyed neighborhood restaurants and one night we did audio self tour of monuments with rented city bikes right outside Honeymoon chicken. Always got parking right out front house. Clean well appointed house but 2 people is really all it will fit. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay. Pretty much matches the description. Bed was comfortable. Water was hot. Kitchen accommodated all needs. Large bathroom. Literally the only complaint was the flies out front in the patio area. Didn’t bother me much but did my husband. We sat out there with music and a drink. Nice table area.

Good location in a nice neighborhood near Metro.

Very clean 1 bedroom property. Had lots of great amenities that made my stay very comfortable. 10 minute walk to Metro, which was what I needed to be a tourist and go to my conference. EXCELLENT

My girlfriend and I couldn’t have been happier with the excellent accommodations. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and convenient. We used this apt as our home base for our trip to DC. We took advantage of the quaint neighbourhoods for our morning runs and the close proximity to the Metro. A parking space was always available and we never walked more than across the street to our car. Check in/out was seamless. Highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting a safe and comfortable place to stay.

Lovely stay with access to most amenities. It is a basement so if that's an issue look elsewhere, but for us it was perfect. Super clean, comfortable, and well with the price. Oh also parking is included. Highly recommend across the board.

The perfect Vacation

Stayed for 5days in Washington DC and the whole experience was perfect. The area property was located was quiet and lovely but plenty to do.
