This tastefully furnished apartment has one bedroom with a king size Tempurpedic bed, a queen size sleeper sofa, plus several inflatable beds of various sizes. It's the perfect location for a business trip or a visit to DC's many incredible sites. And I don't charge a cleaning fee! I’ve lived in the main house above the apartment for over 20 years, so I’m happy to answer questions about the area and offer suggestions for your stay. The apartment is a stone's throw from dozens of restaurants (6 with Michelin stars!), shops, clubs and within easy walking distance of two Metro lines. There's no off-street parking for the unit, but free temporary residential parking can be arranged for visitors to take advantage of the plentiful street parking in the neighborhood. We found it very easy to get around from where we were whether by walking, biking (there are so many great bike lanes!), or metro. There was a Trader Joe's just a few blocks away along with a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and took frequent evening strolls around. Frank’s basement house was perfect for our family of 4\. The kids slept on the pullout couch and we were also able to cook meals at night. It was an easy walk and we felt safe walking after dark. Communication with Frank was great. We did not have a rental car so parking was not an issue. We slept very well using both the bed and sofa bed. The updated bathroom was very nice. We also enjoyed looking through some of the books about the history of DC and used the TV in the living area. We only used the kitchen for quick breakfast and evening snacks, but it looked like it was equipped to make a meal if you chose to. My Great Niece enjoyed seeing the blown up lighted turkey on the roof and all the pumpkins on the steps. We look forward to our next family visit and staying at Frank's English Basement! ##### Karyl H.
