We chose this location because of its price, amenities, and location to the Metro. It did not disappoint! It's a 10-minute walk to the Columbia Heights Metro (green/yellow lines). The neighborhood is vibrant and busy; there were lots of people out walking their dogs and running. There were three grocery stores nearby, and with the kitchen it was easy to make dinner. Four blocks to Metro, 30 minute walk to the Zoo, numerous independent shops, restaurants, bars within a few blocks( and Target if you also forget your toothbrush) yet a quiet residential street.
