We had to call the emergency maintenance guy the next day after having our outing at Calloway Gardens for them to come out and fix the AC as it was 82 degrees in the cabin. I brought my family back to the cabin to have a relaxing rest of the evening, but that wasn’t the case it was hot! Secondly the ice maker stopped working. We had to buy our own ice to supply in the freezer. Lastly, and most importantly there was a neighborhood child that would continuously come to the cabin. He would make us feel bad because he said that they had no food at their home so he would ask my children to have lunch with him. He would also constantly come to the cabin, all during out the day, so there was no peace. I’m not against someone else’s children but we came here to have a peaceful family vacation with just family. We would tell the child to go home and he would not listen. He would be there every hour on the hour all day. He lived just across the street so he would see our children outside playing and he would come over. I didn’t mind my children playing with him, but when I told my children, it was time to come inside to eat or shower he would sit on the porch until they came back out. It got very annoying.
