The worst check-in ever. The first assigned room was occupied, the second assigned room was occupied, the third assigned room has not working AC. The fourth room was acceptable.

Stopover on way south. Not a 5 star property by any means, but clean, safe and well priced. Staff were excellent.

Le bain était rouillé et se doit d’être changé. Manque de papier-mouchoir et papier de toilette. Enlever le tapis des allergies. Bravo pour une table et deux chaises pour manger à la,chambre. Extérieur bien entretenu.

This Best Western is a good place to stay on the way to the east coast of Florida. The things I value function well—plumbing, tv, comfortable bed; but the carpet & upholstered furniture need to be replaced.

By far not what I expected staying at a Best Western. The quality of the BW the night before in Kentucky was what I expected.

The man that works in the kitchen is the best, great service and energy! There isn’t good communication between the receptionists from the night and the morning. The room smells, the toilet seat was disgusting, honestly, it’s not worth the $ 114 I paid. Way too expensive for the bad conditions of the hotel.

This is an older-style hotel (rooms open to the outside) but was very clean and good for a traveling stay. Not in perfect condition, but quite acceptable. There was a nice table for us to eat our pizza on :-) The breakfast was good and the ladies worked very hard to keep things going for the many guests eating.

Name recognition (Best Western) offers security. This is a clean old hotel. Great for a good over night sleep when traveling.

I chose this location it left an easy 4 hour drive back home after drive from Florida. A great many of the hotel/motel chains are within a tiny cluster just off I-95. The outward appearance of each is shabby and unininviting. Walterboro has been in steep decline for decades. There is nothing inviting. The usual chain restaurants also look shabby. I was saddened to see this impoverished community but unfortunately, it's not unlike many in the southern states we visit. I urge corporations in the hospitality business to get together to find ways to bolster the economy of these communities beyond just providing low paying jobs.
