Cancelled my room before I even arrived after a long trip.
Explained to them I would be checking in after their time expectations and they still cancelled me, and charged me for the "no show".
Absolute garbage.

We were traveling with a lot of luggage, it was a wine buying trip. We were put on the third floor with no elevator. The toilet in the bathroom was uncomfortably low! I am 5'2" and it was like sitting on the floor, imagine how my 6'2" husband felt!

We reserved a room with 1 queen bed but the room we were given had 2. Cramped. We were given a room in the basement where we were treated to the sounds of the plumbing throughout the night. The people in the room above us must have worn boots even getting up in the middle of the night to add to the noise. Our toilet had a scream upon flushing so maybe they were just trying to get back at us. There was a carpet tack strip with exposed tack points. The a/c heater was loud to the point that earplugs were necessary to get a good night sleep. The bathroom fan was loud as well but at least you could get away from it.
I had asked for a different room but was met with a no. I don’t remember the desk person even looking for an alternative or saying “sorry”.
I doubt if a remodel would help. Just tear it down.

Dear Monique, Your 3 night stay was terminated by the hotel due to your minor son smoking pot in our common restroom with his friends. The next day he was caught bringing in 2 dogs, after you had inquired about the pet fee on the first day, telling staff you decided not to bringing the pets as you could not afford it. Then you and your son tried to pass the pets off as service animals, as your are holding them in your arms. Overall we thank you for your review, have a great day.Thanks,

Was a good location for our time in Walla Walla.
Hotel is dated and showing its age. Was fairly noisy on the bottom floor from guest upstairs. No elevator.

Pool and hot tub were great, hot tub had way too much chlorine in it. Otherwise, it was a solid, typical stay.

Janky heat/AC was so LOUD, and didnt seem to function properly, finally just unplugged it. Also, bathroom fan connected to light, and also LOUD. People were quiet tho.

Front desk clerk in the evening forgot to bring me my towels after ringing bell, waiting and going yo find him in the pool area. Was woke up in the middle of the night to a mouse chewing through my hot chocolate packet. The people walking above sound like the floor is going to crackle. No elevator and my mother in-law had a very hard time doing the stairs. Other than that it was fine.

All online websites state our building is not equipped with an elevator, not really sure how your mother-in-law had hard time considering her room was on our main floor. Upon arrival waited for 25 minutes for an employee to appear. No bell to call for service. Finally 2 men came in smelling badly of pot and one of them checked us in. At checkout again nobody around. There were several room key cards thrown on the counter from others trying to checkout. Unsafe! Anyone could walk in, pick up a room key card sitting on the front desk unattended and go into a room.

The smell you are referring to would be epoxy paint not pot, but you are probably not familiar with the epoxy smell. The reference of unsafe would give access to a room that is dirty and vacated by the guests, which would not pose any safety issues other than to an empty room, but I guess you would know better. Disappointed that the pool and hot tub are being renovated- and not useable. Not available from December until March, approximately. These were listed on the hotel amenities. I would have selected a different hotel if I had been aware the pool and hot tub were not available. That’s part of what I was looking for when searching for a hotel.

Clean and convenient, with a nice breakfast spread in the morning. Pet friendly, although they charge an additional fee. Close to downtown restaurants and lots of easy parking.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Neighboring rooms were only occasionally noisy (loud bumps and such). But never noisy in any way that I felt was out of the ordinary for any hotel I've ever stayed in. I'd stay there again.

We didn't like finding a pair of women's bloody underwear in top drawer of dresser. Employee from front desk came to clean up and I asked for discount for inconvenience. I was told that manager was not available for that kind of request. This is the reason for 1 star

Pool is way too cold. Need to turn up the heat. On top of that they have a big fan blowing towards the pool making it even colder. Very unpleasant. I expressed my concern and the employee was unwilling to do anything.
