Oceanfront 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with a bonus loft bedroom. Oceanfront complex located near the Ma’alaea Harbor with breathtaking views of dormant Haleakala and Kahoolawe, just 20 steps away from the waters edge. The property has a pool, jacuzzi and BBQ. Perfect for couples or families.

The space

Our condo is DIRECT OCEANFRONT, BEACHFRONT!

You can't get any closer to the ocean than our condo! Maalaea village is a gem with its central location and its fantastic trade winds. They provide a cooling breeze that keeps the temperatures just right. Just in case the cross breeze in the unit isn't enough for you, we have a newly installed split A/C (as of February 2020) in the living room, downstairs bedroom and upstairs loft bedroom. There are ceiling fans in the master and loft bedroom and a floor fan in the second bedroom. Please note that the second bedroom upstairs does not have any windows. It also has low, slanted ceilings, making it best suited for a children's room.

From the lanai, gaze out and watch the sun rise over Haleakala. Watch green sea turtles bobbing up for air and rolling in the surf. In the winter months (Nov-April) you will have a front row seat to breaching whales.

Beautifully landscaped grounds with a heated pool. Slip into the pool and enjoy the ocean view while you relax in the Maui sun.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender and all of the other basic supplies to comfortably enjoy cooking and eating in. There is also a great BBQ area oceanfront so you can enjoy the view while you cook up some delicious food!

At the end of our cul-de-sac is Sugar Beach, 3-4 minute walk from the unit.

A 5 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to Maalaea Harbor where you will find a small grocery store, deli, craft market, restaurants and the Maui Ocean Center (Maui’s #1 tourist attraction), the Pacific Whale Foundation, miniature golf, shopping and most of the ocean activities available on Maui (sunset dinner cruises, deep sea fishing, snorkeling tours & whale watching).

Centrally located, Maalaea is a place of stay that makes getting anywhere on the island easy. You will be 15 minutes from the airport; a 5 minute drive south to Kihei and a bit further, the resorts of Wailea; and 20 minutes to Lahaina. You couldn’t be in a better location to explore all Maui has to offer.

The place had everything we needed to cook, and all the essentials to play on the beach. The view was amazing, and loved seeing all the whales from the lanai, and the turtles on the little beach every evening. Good trade winds through the condo, rarely used the AC.

This was our second time to Maui. This trip we brought our three kids with us (two adults, one teen). The location of this property is absolutely perfect. It’s a short drive to South Maui (Wailea) and also a short drive to Lahaina, and Kapalua. We did not spend a huge amount of time at the property during the day, but did eat breakfast there every morning. Perfect amenities for making omelets, toast, coffee, etc. We sat outside on the balcony to eat each morning and the views were spectacular (see photos). The breezes through the Condo were so refreshing and pleasant. We opened the front door and opened the balcony sliding glass door and just let the air flow through. We all enjoyed our time together at the condo in the mornings and evenings. I cooked one night out at the gas grills, where there is a dedicated gas line, and a nice kitchenette with running water. Overall, we had an awesome stay. The main level bathroom needs a little bit of an upgrade, but it served its purpose well while we were there. Views: Amazing; we saw Sea Turtles and Whales from the balcony. Location: PerfectSize: Adequate for a family of five if you are planning to spend a lot of time checking out Maui. Host: Awesome to deal with. Amenities: Everything we needed.

Very quiet property which we loved! There was hardly anyone around the whole week which made it so relaxing for us!! The location was perfect and made for an easy drive to anywhere on the island. The balcony had an incredible view of the ocean!! The owner was prompt in responding to messages. Would definitely stay here again!

Great time in maui!

Great place amazing views. Just enough room for 5.Only minor complaints were the 3rd bedroom is very hot and the washer and dryer made our clothes smell moldy but other than that it’s an amazing place to stay.

Central Location

This rental is great if you are looking for a central location to explore multiple areas of the island but would like to come back to a quiet condo. The view from the lanai is fantastic and we enjoyed watching the turtles. If you are traveling soon, please note that the elevator listed under accessibility is currently being replaced and you will need to use the stairs to get to the top floor.

We needed three bedrooms and this was a good place for the price we paid. Halls & stairs could use more lighting and we couldn't find an operating manual. TV (especially) and the coffee pot were trial & error, but overall, the unit was clean and we liked being able to walk to the Ocean Center, Maalaea Harbor stores, and the beach.

Great times!

This place was great! If it lacks anything it might be the size but for 4 of us it was comfortable. Beds were all comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. The view is extraordinary, and we would see 10-15 turtles every day from about noon to sunset. We were within walking distance to where all the boat tours seem to come out of, a couple good restaurants and the aquarium as well. The host was fantastic as well and the check in process is super easy. This was a fun place to stay for sure, so enjoy Maui.

The condo was nice but hadn’t been cleaned upon arrival. They were able to get a cleaning crew out there but after a long flight it was definitely an inconvenience. Other than that our stay was great. The view was amazing for watching the turtles and the Monk seal that lays out during the day.

First time to Maui and this was a great central location as we ventured out each day, plus it was walking distance to the harbor where we did a couple of tours. View from the balcony was exactly what I wanted for our stay on the island and having 3 separate sleeping spaces worked well for our family.

Great location

This was our family’s first trip to Maui, and we were very happy overall with our stay here. The condo is very centrally located to whatever direction we wanted to go on the island making our activities easy to access. The condo itself is very comfortable and has a terrific view ( we loved sitting on the lanai watching the sea turtles!). The host was very communicative ahead of our trip and when we checked in. The only minor things that could have been improved was that one of the provided beach chairs was broken. Additionally, there was no cooler provided for beach trips. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

Outstanding stay!

Our family of 4 had an outstanding stay at this condo. The three bedrooms allowed my husband and I as well as each of our sons (19 and 22) to have our own space but also provided areas to hang out together. The kitchen is small but very well equipped -- and the outdoor grill on the property was a nice bonus. The road behind the building dead ends at a park with a nice beach for morning walks. The location was perfect for exploring the island as it's centrally located on the west side near lots of resorts and beaches and also an easy drive to Paia and the road to Hana for a completely different experience. Point Break Pizza in the shopping area at Maalaea Harbor is exceptionally good if you don't feel like cooking and do not sleep on Hula Cookies & Ice Cream in the same area. We were able to watch sea turtles, tons of surfers and a harbor seal from our balcony. We also really appreciated the beach and snorkel equipment provided. Melanie and Neil were communicative and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

Great stay. The property was as advertised with a very communicative owner. Great A/C kept us cool each night except the attic room. The attic room bed was a little too solid as well. But overall a great stay, great location, great amenities.

Great home base

The condo was a great home base for our multi generational group of 6. Melanie was very responsive to our questions and gave very clear and simple checkin/checkout directions. The view was amazing, listening to the waves at night was pleasant and exploring the little beach was fun for the kids. Location wise it was very easy to get most places in the island. Everything was 15-25 minutes away. There was however limited restaurants and shops nearby. We did find a great local pizza place at the harbor shopping center.

Breathtaking and Relaxing

It was a real treat to stay at this property. It is well appointed, I was excited to see they even had an Instant Pot for my morning oatmeal! Everything was as it was stated in the description. We loved seeing the turtles on the beach, and watching the whales from the lenai. Everything worked and we never had to use the A/C once. It was not only a breathtaking view it was a relaxing place to stay! We hope to stay there in the future.

Great location for Maui getaway

Really enjoyed our stay at the condo. Maelaea is a perfect location for being close to the beach, marina and some restaurants/shops without the busyness of Kihei. Condo was clean and perfect for our needs. We traveled with our two kids (14 & 9) and they each had a room. Once we figured out how to get the tradewinds flowing through the condo, it was always the perfect temperature with no need for AC. Loved having the beach chairs and towels for our daily visits to beaches. The highlight was the patio overlooking the ocean. We watched whales and turtles every morning and night right from the patio. Overall a great experience and would book again.

Lovely, well appointed apartment in a great location, on the water with beach access (so many turtles!) We watched dozens of whales every morning with our morning coffee from the balcony. Beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, etc were great to have for beach days. Highly recommend.
