Staff were excellent and facilities were nice, but right off the main road with a significant amount of traffic noise all night. Room was located in a separate building across the main road. Street parking only.

Good option for Petra!
We were looking for an affordable stay near Petra and this one did the job. Bed was comfortable and the front desk people were extremely helpful in organizing activities. My only complaint is that the shower and bathroom area were smaller than expected. A good option for your stay in Petra.

This is not a 4 star hotel at all . It’s more of a 2 or 3 star max . The pictures shown on the site does not reflect the reality of the place . You can hear everything that is going on on the room next door , the TV is side ways from the bad. The shower caulking and tile is all black with mold

We stayed at this property for our recent holiday, the staff is poorly behaved and wouldn't leave any opportunity to rip you off your money. limited and poor quality breakfast and rooms are tiny as well. Plug points do not work , notea or cooffee in rooms, they provide 2 little cups of water as opposed to standard 500 ml water bottles in other hotels. and above that staff is unfriendly too which is disappointing given they are in hospitality industry, will not recommend.

The Hotel is in old condition, bathroom toilets can't fit a person in it due to its lack of space and design, old furniture, Air conditioning is in a wall unit, overall should be considered a motel 3 stars, not 4, definitely a rip off for the price I paid

Nice hotel
Petra Sella is a great place to stay when visiting Petra. The staff were friendly and I had a great view of the city. Only downside is that WiFi didn’t work in the room.

Pretty good hotel, friendly staff
Pretty good hotel, nice views from the room, friendly staff, about 10 minutes drive to Petra visitor centre. Good restaurant on the other side of the road. For Petra this is pretty good value for money.

2/3 stars hotel instead of 4
We feel like this is more like a 2 stars or max 3 stars hotel instead of 4. It is an old style building with few pieces of new furnitures. We stayed there for two nights. The staffs were very nice and friendly. We even got our room upgraded as we’re on our honeymoon. The problem with the top floor panoramic room is that the windows can’t be closed completely. It was very windy and we could hear all the noise from outside. It also took hours for the heater to really warm up the room. Overall the room gave us an impression that it’s not very clean due to the stains on the bed linens and the condition of the bathroom. The breakfast was so and so, far from what you see in their photos. Dinner buffet was not good as the food was not fresh, a la carte was not too bad.

Beware of hotel's Turkish Bath!!!
After a long day of hiking I arranged a massage at the hotels spa facility (they called it a Turkish Bath) for my wife through the hotel manager. This is a recount from wife of what happened: We ordered a Turkish bath and the hotel staff asked if it was ok if it was a man. We didn't realize exactly what happens in a Turkish bath so I "said not a problem", as I have had lots of male masseuses in the USA and it was always very appropriate. However for this Turkish bath you go across the street and you are all alone with one man. During my bath I tried to keep putting the wet sheet to cover my private parts but I kept ending up completely naked. My breasts were rubbed and nipples pinched. My legs were spread and my inner thighs rubbed.The man asked if it was ok and I said "yes, but I am very uncomfortable and it is strange" to him. He told me "just relax and it is only work" for him. I also was positioned facing the wall standing up naked and massaged from behind. At the time I thought it was normal for an Arab turkish bath and even tipped the guy, but later I felt very uncomfortable and violated. After the next few days I started getting more upset and I am mad at myself for not stopping him because it was very inappropriate and sexual.

Average stay
The Hotel was in a reasonable location from the Petra visitor centre and close to restaurants. The hotel condition was average with some old furniture and facilities (the elevator railing was broken, rooms had basic bedding material). The bathroom was small, but functional. The shower was dirty and had not had a problem scrub to remove built up grime and mould. The hotel is on a highway (slow speed) and the rooms did not protect from the loud noise of the road traffic. The rooms on the fourth floor did have wonderful views over Petra which was a saving attribute, good air conditioning and a new television.

The property was in very close proximity to the Petra archeological site and a great starting point to explore Wadi Musa. The hotel staff and the manager Naheth was very helpful, they went out of their way to accommodate their guests. My room exceeded my expectations and the bed was beyond comfortable.

This is a nice hotel. The Staff is very good and helpful. Due to a flight delay I checked in at 1 am and they didn't have any problem at all with that. I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were amazing, welcoming and very helpful, they went above and beyond throughout my entire stay. The location is very near Petra and is an easy car journey in and out which the hotel are happy to provide. The only downside is the noise of the traffic at night as the hotel is on a main road and had thin windows whereby you could hear everything. This didn’t detract from a lovely hotel ran by fabulous people who treated you like a friend and not s customer.

Staff was helpful and room was comfortable a snow modern. Bathroom was beautifully appointed but tiny. Walking to restaurants involves lots of elevation.

What a view!
We had a top floor room and what a view! To watch the colours of the sunset over Wadi Musa, followed by the nighttime lights of the town, was fabulous. This hotel is located on the Kings Highway on the outskirts of town. Easy to reach, no town centre driving, and the view! To walk to the ticket office of Petra is all downhill, about 20-25 mins. We walked down our first night & then took a taxi the rest of our stay (4JD each way). The staff were friendly & the room was nice. Definitely get a town view room, it does have some road noise but it is worth it. We choose hotels for all sorts of reasons and this one we got right for the view. We had a pleasant stay and would return.

Good location, nice staff, but noisey
The room, although nice, has paper thin walls and our first night we could hear our neighbor coughing all night on one side and talking from the other side in the morning.

On arrival the staff were welcomin, friendly and helpful. There was a short delay getting our room but we were well looked after. The room was comfortable with a great view. Breakfast is from 6.30am and there is a pretty good selection. It's a good location about a 10 minute walk to the centre which is a steep climb back.. That feels steeper after a long day in Petra. To visit Petra itself is walkable just but its much better to drive. There is there own restaurant and Turkish Bath opposite. The restaurant does a good buffet after 6.30pm. We stayed three days and it is recommended.

Nice hotel. Lovely staff who are very helpful. Rooms are a good size and clean. Petra is a short taxi ride away.

Overpriced.
Grossly over priced. Never use price as a benchmark when booking this hotel. Expect a small room - which has a few steps of walking space, an even smaller washroom - where u can touch the tap on the sink sitting on the commode! Avoidable... Unless selling for a less than USD 100/- per night (including taxes).

Recommend for a stay in Petra
Great hotel, the owner was especially helpful and kind, and even helped in arranging my whole trip in Hordan. Would definitely recommend. Great hospitality.

OK hotel but nothing special. Not sure about 4-stars. Room was right above the main road into Petra and so quite noisy. They double-booked so we were relocated to another hotel for the first night of our stay, however we got a room upgrade for the 2nd night.

This property was 5 minutes from Petra and perfect for an overnight stay. The buffet dinner wasn’t the greatest but it was decent. They also, for an additional price made a to go lunch for me for the next day in Petra. Overall it was clean, quiet and convenient.
