Fantastic getaway
What a beautiful place to lay out heads! Lorraine was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel so welcome we didn't want to leave! Clean, well equipped and full of character, we will most definitely be visiting again

Good place to stay for travelers en route
We (family of four, two teenagers age 14 and 17) spent one night at the motel on our way from Weymouth to Folkestone. We arrived late so we called the premises and found an arrangement so that we could access our room after the usual latest time of 8 PM. The lapartment was clean and the beds and the sleeping couch were prepared for the night. All the food (e.g. milk and juice) for the complimentary breakfast had already been provided. The premises are quiet and we had a good night's sleep. Only two minor issues: the WIFI was too slow to do just about anything with it and we would have appreciated a more comfortable lamp in the living room to watch TV.

Lovely clean motel.
Clean motel. Uninterrupted stay. Lovely stay with the family and some nice local places like Bewl water and the pinetum all less than a 10 minute drive away. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable but not terrible.

A clean and comfortable motel
This accommodation is clean and comfortable but in reality it is a motel not a hotel. It’s quiet in spite of being close to the busy A21. My only minor issues are that there is no housekeeping if you’re staying more than one night and the continental breakfast is a do it yourself in the kitchenette cereal and toast , already in the room which is a bit disappointing when you’re on holiday.

Had a great stay. Highly recommended.
Very clean. More like a self catering apartment. Felt very welcome and I'd highly recommend. Everyone had a good sleep and e joyed the included cereal and toast. In fact, better than a hotel as you can take your own time. 11 check out meant no rush so great with kids.

Spacious accommodation, but could be better
Good size room, comfortable accommodation. Bed not very soft. Cereals, milk and white bread provided. Would have liked wholemeal bread. Useful to have kitchenette but no microwave. Needs a coffee machine.

Great overnight stop
Only stayed for one night when working in Flimwell, very pleasant, lots of space, easy parking, simple but ample continental breakfast left in room. Highlight was morning run before work on the forest trails immediately opposite...great for walking, running or mountain bikes. Hopefully be back

Yes - peace and quiet!
Very friendly welcome by reception, although we didn't see anyone else during our three night stay. Due to Covid-19 restrictions they weren't entering the chalet rooms on a daily basis although we could ask for anything extra when necessary. Facilities in the chalets were clean and organised. Basic breakfast supplies had been left in the fridge. Only microwave available and toaster available for cooking. Nice set of bathroom toiletries available. Although the motel is next to a busy road we were not aware of the traffic while indoors. Also, although quite a few cars coming and going into the main car park area the sound was not intrusive in the chalet. Main disadvantage is if you are approaching and having to turn right into the motel entrance then it is a really horrible turning!

Stayed at the forest motel during lockdown. As a key worker from yorkshire they was limited availibilty but found this and was perfect. Clean tidy had everything i needed. Only thing i could of complained about was the Wifi All the pubs around was closed but there was a tesco and a great indian takeaway not to far away. If i come back ill deffo stay here again

We enjoyed our short stay. The chalet was very clean and modern. It was lovely to have a pint of milk waiting for us so that we could have some refreshments as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was nice with a chice of cereal and lots of choice of spreads too. It was great to be able to park right outside our chalet too. We would have preferred larger bath towels but the ones in the chalet were adequate. The bathroom does require some finishing off around the edges. One of the coffee talbes has a broken leg but we didn't need to use it.

The cottage was kept ready and there was an additional bed however there's no additional bed linen or duvet making the bed un-usable. Otherwise the property is kept clean and has all that is needed for a weekend stay

Every thing is clean and tidy, facilities in the rooms are great. Have been here more than once. The Lady who runs the Hotel is marvelous. She remembered me fron last year and saved me appartment 2 because it has a wet room and I am disabled. Who could ask for more.

Beautiful chalets great two day stay
Stayed for two nights with my two sons and the whole experience was great. Check in and out was easy and the milk cerial and bread was a real bonus. Rooms were clean and well stocked can't fault anything. The pub across the road is great for food and good beers and it's an easy walk.

I liked the fact that there was a little kitchenette and sitting room with a sofa and a single bed and an upstairs bedroom. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. The bed was very comfortable, there was lots of coffee and tea and real milk in the fridge.
