A lots of mosquitoes, even inside the room, they start working in the yard at 6 am making noise, blowing the leaves so quite noisy

The hotel is a kind of heritage property that sits on farmland close to the Nazca Line airport. No lights on the dirty unpaved road if driving at night. There are not enough staff to keep the hotel running well.

Watch out for the extra charges, even though it says all taxes included, they tried to charge us extra taxes. They need to work on their landscape, the gardens are forgotten!

This property is a sleeper. It is off of the beaten path but is not far from Nazca City (1 km). It is absolutely beautiful and is owned by Maria Reich’s daughter. I found that to be very interesting.

This was an Old plantation with plenty of flowers and shrubs. Beautiful grounds around the swimming pool. The hotel has seen better days, and still can be transform into something very nice, but will need money. Needs an update .

very dirty. Old towels, that hotel is about to be evicted, the neighborhood is very bad, there is no light, it is scary.. just only ok but the restaurant.

Quite a find, art and folk museum in one.
We arrived at midnight on a taxi, after a long bus ride from Lima… a little surreal not knowing the surroundings or what to expect… big closed gated hotel but somebody opened as soon as we arrived and what a surprise! A blast from the past but comfortable beds and quiet sleep, more surprises in the morning! Marvelous breakfast, excellent coffee and a fabulous repository of Nasca and Inca artifacts. Ancient trees and beautiful flowers. Close to airport for flyover the famous Nasca lines, the hotel will help you arrange it. Totally recommend you visit this place.

An expansive property with very nice pool area. Staff was very friendly - even, the pet turkey duck (quasimodo) will say hello. The trees are lovely with various colors of flower blooms. The property has a rich history.

We were told it was paradise and it lived up to the recommedation. I wasn’t feeling well but this didn’t effect the experience.

I jad a wondrrcull stay. I highly recommend it to relax. Owners make you feel at home. Staff is great. Super clean hotel. I had a massage, amazing display of paintings and ceramic throughout the Hacienda hotel. Huge bathroom with chair If you have mobility issues. We will come back.l!!

Nice hacienda with outdated room
Great hacienda & very helpfull staff, clean place, however three-bed room was outdated and mouldy, needs further updates in terms of the decor.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review, we keep on purpose the rooms outdated to make it look like an old hacienda. We want our guests to feel like at an uncle´s country house and not at a modern hotel where you cant tell the diference from each other and have that family house ambience that we have.

Lovely oasis in the Desert of Nazca is wonderful!
If you are looking for a special place to stay, this is a wonderful family owned hotel that was once a convent. The grounds and art work are amazing. The restaurant has great food and there is a pool and outside bar to enjoy the year around comfortable temperatures. We have been to Peru twice and make Hacienda Majero a must go to.

Me encantó el hotel. Viajamos con mi esposo de regreso de Arequipa a Lima. No esperábamos una estadía tan placentera. La comida de primera. El cuarto grande y espacioso, con mucho gusto. Toda la hacienda está llena de detalles de estilo colonial. La piscina deliciosa. El desayuno con pan hecho en casa. La experiencia de estar en el campo fue maravillosa con cabellos, alpacas, pavos reales entre otros animales. Una experiencia maravillosa. Lo recomiendo 100%

Casa Hacienda hermosa Muy caro para lo q te dan La comida cumple bien pero a un precio un poco elevado Las habitaciones son impecables en términos de limpieza pero con comodidades muy básicas No internet No TV La grifería muy mala Atención de la gente es muy buena El lugar podría estar más arreglado La decoración es muy mezclada No es un bueno bonito y barato

Estimado Huésped: Gracias por sus comentarios y aprovecho esta oportunidad para responderle: El objetivo en Majoro es que uno se desconecte al 100% del mundo real y vuelva a la experiencia del siglo XIX y vea que hay poco momentos en la vida de pura tranquilidad. Es por esa misma razón que no tenemos TV en el cuarto, sin embargo sí tenemos Wifi, solo que a un precio adicional por toda la estadía y es para que no lo usen y puedan apreciar el silencio. Todos hoy en día vivimos pegados a los teléfonos y nosotros creemos en que viene bien de vez en cuando a perder toda clase de contacto virtual. Sin embargo, si igual sienten la necesidad tienen de la tecnología a su disposición. Tenemos una televisión con DirecTv para que puedan ver toda clase de programación, wifi disponible y teléfonos en todas las habitaciones. Sobre la decoración me parece que sus comentarios son un poco desafortunados pues conozco pocos hoteles con esta clase de decoración y cuidado de ella. La grifería es a propósito mantenida así y buscamos en muchos lugares griferías que dan aspecto antiguo (no sé a que se refiere con muy mala) para mantener el estilo de casa antigua.
