The unique decor also made for a fun backdrop to our adventure. The proximity to town is also fantastic. The property and views are lovely. There are a couple aspects that make this house not great for families with small children. There is a steep set of open stairs going to the basement that cannot be securely blocked off. Also, the floors are extremely squeaky so once the kids went to bed in the basement we needed to stop walking around upstairs.
