Fantastic service and welcoming staff, especially on Reception. Incredibly helpful and patient. No ask is too big, they are always willing to assist. Good, wholesome meals served. Nice clean, spacious rooms, with crisp linen! Well worth the stay here.

Lovely facility with lots of light and many common areas to relax in. The bathroom was especially nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant.

Lovely hotel on the pilgrim route.
Wonderfully furnished exciting building with a lovely bar and garden open for locals. The meal was incredible value for money and extremely goof

Great stop on the Camino de Santiago.
Third time here. Always pleasant and good place to prepare for the walk to Burgos. Good inexpensive restaurant with a daily menu with something for everyone.

Excellent, friendly hotel and restaurant
Overnight stay on a short motorcycling trip. Very friendly and helpful reception when checking in, invited to park the bike in the secure foyer. Good bedroom room and shower/WC room. Dinner simple but good and very economical. All in all a great stop over.

Superb location, in the ancient monastery. The place is quiet, clean and if you are a pilgrim they offer an excellent pilgrim dinner Upon arrival the stag are friendly and helpful. I arrived there tired and wet and in need to repair my bicycle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is at the same time one of the main historic attractions in the village.

Hotel San Antón Abad is a very good place to stay along the Camino - offering both traditional alburgue and high quality hotel options. The premise is well-maintained with great amenities. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The lunch and dinner menus offer a good choice of options at a very reasonable price.

Great stay!
Stayed one night while on The Camino. Hotel is directly in the route and very easy to find. Check-in was fast and easy. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and well priced with wine included. Rooms have great views out to the countryside. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was nicely decorated. The bed was possibly the worst I have ever slept in, and the wifi didn't work. The restaurant will be a highlight of terrible meals I have had. Canned aspargus with mayonaisse on it, frozen fish with what tasted like a ketchup/campells soup sauce and frozen french fries, and for desert they brought out yogurt still in a plastic cup on a plate. Thankfully it was only 13 Euros each for the whole thing.

Luxury on Camino journey
Lovely hotel in our Camino journey. Poshest place we stayed for a very reasonable rate. Only snag water was not hot when we arrived so had to wait for showers. Lots of hot water after an hour. Lovely place. Served us breakfast at 6.45 as we wanted to be on the road early. Best pilgrim dinner . Beautiful Rioja wine.

Very remote
As it was Good Friday we wanted to eat Fish as we do not eat meat on Good Friday. Ordered Fish for dinner which was off. The smell was terrible we sent it back and they halved the bill. Not nice at all.

A delightful rural retreat
This hotel was a delight to stay in. It was comfortable, clean and steeped in history. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal was excellent value and breakfast was the best on our two weeks trip.

Neat place!
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. Had a great view of the countryside. It's a odd mix of museum, castle, mansion...really liked the quirkiness. Food at dinner was great. Breakfast, just okay.

Lovely welcome sight after long days walking!
Great welcome with lovely friendly staff. Great room. Lovely sunny court yard with beer on tap. Evening meal with wonderful choices and good wine. Great place to stay after walking nearly 26 miles on the Camino.

Good location . Poor service.
Display Pillow cases on bed were dirty and had clearly been slept on. No hot water until early evening, only tepid. Charged 1 euro to make phone call for us then had it returned just before we left and following our complaints. Promised a free meal as compensation then offer withdrawn by manager. Cost of 1 night was 70 euro and given problems not worth it.

Good surprise in small village of Santiago path
Charming and historic place, good vibe, nice deco, comfort food ( good value too ) and the best are the people, it seems a family, it is very friendly ( deserves 10 for that ). The room is small but a quite a simple cosy style with views to the local church, they trying be helpful with small details but not fridge ( suggestion ), notice it is a hotel in the path of pilgrims, for that is very fitted.

Cet hôtel étant situé sur le chemin de Compostelle, il m'a permis un intermède au couchage en auberge de pèlerin.A voir absolument car il est situé dans un ancien hopital pour pèlerin.
