Horrible experience with property and app!!!
This property its NOT in bussines and your app keep taking reservations. The new owners said theres nothing they can do the hotel been closed for 2 months already. They let us stay at our own risk, paying cash and with no kind of service at all, but what can we do if theres where no place to stay and ur help center didnt help me when i ask for!!!

Overpriced! Facilities are in poor condition, no pool or bar. No cable or WiFi, AC wasn't working properly. The hotel is ugly and no parking.

This was such a hole of a hotel. Shame on orbitz for marketing it as a 3-star with pictures that must be a decade old. It was barely a 1 star hotel, filthy and extremely run-down.

Worst hotel ever
This hotel is terrible. There was mold on the ceilings, risty door handles, no one was there to check us in, there were spiders in the bed and ROACHES everywhere. In addition, the pool didnt have water in it, but a couple gallons of mud and leaves. DO NOT GO HERE!! Absolutely NOT worth the priced $140.

I booked ocean view room. I have a big platform facing the bay, excellent view. The room and facilities are shabby. Their staff are not always on site. I have to call the number on the office wall to reach out.

Pics are way too misleading. This place does not look anything like it (i.e.) Fridge door was moldy! I do not recommend it!!!

I was a disaster bc hotel did look anything like hotel on hotels.com.the pool.was empty with no water and the room had mold.i had to leave to a nearby house where i was offered a room.

There was smoke coming out of the electric outlet , the bathroom was nasty and the beds, the sink was clogged, the room had a humid smell. We reported to the front but they didn’t do anything and we didn’t say anything else because anyways it was just one night. The only good thing is the location.

The best part of the entire stay was Ocean view, that's it. I booked last minute so I have low expectations when the price was low. It requires little attention in terms of cleanliness. The rooms are run down and smells.

Gross hotel.
There's no available pool at all. There's only dirt inside. There are stains on the bed sheet, roaches in the room, holes on the towel. And no hot water provided in the bath room. Ah, besides, we got a "special gift" on the balcony, a purple underwear from who knows. In a word, the hotel is gross. The view is out of expectations, but it's definitely not worthy of the price.

Hotel needs to be updated.
Although the concierge was extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel was in terrible condition. Bathroom is in bad condition. Water was leaking somewhere and was all over the bathroom floor and never dried up. Did not come with any soap/shampoo/lotion. Bed comforter has holes/ripped on the edges. Towels are so old/used they had frays all over. There was rust on the appliances and dirt all over the tiles on the floor. Looked like an unclean grimy version of the pictures on line. Hotel may have been nice at one point in the past but definitely needs a huge update. Not worth the price they charge you to stay there.

Awesome! Weird but not for everyone
We made the best of our trip and when we first checked into the wave we were excited. We got a free upgrade for our room and the view from out terrace was awesome! After a few minutes we realized it is a dirty spot.. but we also realize this hotel is recovering from a major trauma. We got over the dirty floors and slightly stained sheets pretty quick and ended having the best time ever! Our terrace was the best and with the view you rarely can have that with no one else around. We had the entire place to ourselves! We also had the best time ever staying here because it forced us to explore a bit and take adventures around the island! If we had just gone south to Esperanza we may not have had the same fun. If you have never stayed in a hostel and don’t have good travel buddies book elsewhere. If you are keen on a cheap hotel, a great view and adventures def book! We would love to see this hotel have the income to rebuild the loss. Also the front desk was amazing! Kind and knowledgeable!

I can't believe that Hotels.com has this hotel in their listing. This hotel is filthy, their blankets were black from stains, their floor was beyond dirty. We ended up booking an Airbnb which was much much better for a night.

RUN! This place is nothing like on the pictures. There was a hurricane in 2017 and that place is completely damaged, moreover the mold and the smell is unbearable! It should't be open at all! Juan at he front desk is very nice and helpful, he lowered our price to $50 a night after we complained about the roach in the room and filthy floor. Do not pay more for that place. The only think that didn't kill the experience for us completely was the view from the balcony, which is priceless. The Ocean view is breathtaking, anything else....RUN.

Staff was amazing! Cant put it into words. Hotel took a beating during the hurricane, and is undergoing some construction. Has the best location when it comes to the ferry, car rentals and food. Has an amazing view of the sunset as well. Overall, your definitely getting your moneys worth when staying at this location.
