Located within the waters of the Coorong National Park with a private jetty and fully enclosed yard. A tranquil, peaceful setting with abundant birdlife to watch from a fabulous, protected outdoor kitchen patio area. Outdoor firepit for the cooler months (BYO firewood). Plenty of parking for boats and trailers, this family-friendly property is close to a boat ramp if you wish to bring your own boat to explore the Murray Mouth and Coorong National Park. Bream, Mulloway, and Coorong Mullet may be caught from the private jetty. 10 minutes drive to the quaint township of Goolwa. Visit the nearby Murray Mouth lookout, Coorong Cafe, and Hoad's fishery (in season). The home was well equipped and spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The view from the house is straight out onto the Coorong. This was especially beautiful at sunrise with the spectacular colours on the water, be sure to get up early to see this. This is our second stay at Hideaway Toms and it wont be our last. Its such a quiet and relaxing place to come and getaway, only a 50mins drive from where we live and 15mins from Goolwa. The property is great, clean, tidy and comfortable but of course what you come for is the view. Its right on the water, with loads of birdlife to watch. The best part of the day is waking up and opening the blinds to look outside. We took our dog and he had a great time climbing down the rocks for a paddle. Its nice and shallow and very safe.
