great

I was greeted warmly at the front desk and advised that I had received a room upgrade! Our room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable too. Self-parking was easy with access to the hotel via a lift. We were centrally located in Locarno and close to the waterfront walkway which made for a pleasant evening walk. We were offered a 10% off coupon for breakfast but did not end up using it. Friendly hotel - we would definitely stay there again!

Great rooms with beautiful views

Next to station , the hotel is in a beautiful old house with small but practical room. Perfect service , good bed and tasty breakfast. Excellent quality price relation. Highly reecommended

A charming hotel close to the lake and downtown. Friendly and helpful staff provided recommendations and a good breakfast.

For the Locarno Film Festival, the location was excellent with both free city buses and the festival shuttle coming right in front of the hotel. Rooms were in excellent shape, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and very friendly!

Limited view on the lak

All was perfect. The self check-in process was easy and simple. I paid for parking and the instructions were sent the morning of my arrival. I would definately comme back here. 100% 5/5

Hotel itself is beautiful. Very well located. Steps away from the Center & to the Lake. The rooms are huge, the balcony is pleasant. View from the room is gorgeous. Breakfast is awesome. Staff is friendly & helpful. I really appreciated their openness. I loved everything. Price was fair. I do recommend Hotel Ascona
