We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. The room was very spacious and clean, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect for hiking in the area. It was simply a wonderful experience. The location is walkable distance to everything, and less than a 5 minute walk from the main train station. And most restaurants don't open for dinner until 6pm. We did not use the on-site restaurant but it looked really nice. Our room was great for the four of us, a 2-bedroom unit with a balcony towards the mountains with a Matterhorn view. We would absolutely stay here again. The price was just right and the location can't be beat. The walk to the Sunnegga-Rothorn tunnel entrance was about 10 minutes. There are two green bus stops 1 block away. Taxi services are available all around town and take card payments.
