"The hotel was closed - locked and chained at the gate. According to a gentleman at the gate, the hotel had NO WATER, so they had to close. Had to find another hotel in unfamiliar surroundings in Mexico, and at night. Not a pleasant experience. Submitted a request for refund -- which is pending. Expedia couldn't get ahold of anyone at the hotel, so I have to wait 72 hours before I find out if I get a refund. Very disappointed to say the least. "

"Great little place with very friendly staff, clean room and pool, very comfortable beds and pillows, effective air conditioning, nice rain shower with plenty of hot water, good location close to malecon and beach. Only improvements would be to provide bedside lamps—plenty of plugs but no lamps—and a bigger surface for stuff. "

"Do not under any circumstance stay here. The hotel is completely abandoned. There is one person that lives at the hotel, that wanted to let us in. The gates to the hotel, as well as the parking lot is very apocalyptic. Building is directly across from an abandoned quarter-bilt hotel that was full of squatters. The doors do not lock, there is no water in the pools, there is no restaurant etc. we were forced to go to another place in town. "
