Could use some small changes but overa great!
Employees are wonderful and the location is great for the train station. The shower grout has mould in it, the rooms are very small and they offer a dual shower gel/shampoo with no conditioner and the beds are super firm (which is typical for Europe) but my pregnant back was not having it.

Perfect Venice hotel
This hotel is great! Located down a quiet alley. Clean, quiet, easy and early checkin compared to other hotels and very convenient to Rialto bridge, train station and water bus area. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice room. Cute little balcony (albeit not much of a view). Lovely helpful staff. Included breakfast was ok. Nice and quiet (even the stairs were carpeted). Handy location to the trains and the canal. Little porters meet you at the station and before you know it or even ask what is going on they have put your bags onto their trolleys and they are off!! Pretty good service though - although 25 Euro is a bit steep for a 5 minute walk

Very good choice for us! Easy walk from the train station, flat and smooth compared to other cobbly roads! Modern bathroom, clean, small room but comfortable as we only stayed for 2 nights. We are a couple with a 12 year old and she was comfortable on the twin size daybed. Had a small terrace for sunshine. Great section of Venice away from the bustling hub but still wider streets and a lot of dining and shopping. You can easily access anywhere in Venice by water bus or walking. All the staff was super friendly, they have a good system to store your luggage if needed, organized and shared directions on how to get around. I recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, great location
Great hotel with fantastic location near the railway station, which is about 10 minutes walking with suitcases. Clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served until 10 am - a buffet.

Air conditioner broke down during the night, can’t sleep. There must be roaches and other bugs coz a spray bug outside my door and drawers got the roach pad do make sure you closed all your luggages

Unfortunately there were a lot of young people staying and they were very noisy into the night. The staff didn’t seem to think of saying anything to then re disturbing other guests - I did but not much of an improvement! Otherwise room comfortable, balcony not a nice view but could enjoy sunshine and smoke.

Hi Michele! We are sorry to read your review! Indeed, March is a month in which we work a lot with schools and the only night you stayed in our hotel there was also a group but they had no rooms near you or above yours. I am not aware from the records that you have ever contacted the reception and reported noises. We are pleased that you appreciated that you have been given a renovated room with a terrace, it was definitely a plus for you smokers. The view is simply on the city, the park and the neighboring houses, ours is a small 2-star hotel with very competitive rates (the one reserved for you and Paul in particular was lower than a hostel) we could not offer it to our customers if we had a view of the Grand Canal :) Sincerely

We got the last room which was near the breakfast area and leading out to the back sitting area thus a high traffic area. Martina worked diligently with the booking company to refund part of our payment as the cost on the site was higher than the cost of the room. When she couldn’t get a response, she instead just cash refunded us with a nice note.

Nice little hotel in Venice. Staffs were very friendly and breakfast was good. It was hard to find the hotel at first, because it is located behind the mail street, but there are a lot of restaurants nearby. I really liked staying there.

Decent little place for a short stay
Not a modern hotel but decent hotel for the price in Venice. Comfortable beds and clean room. The room had a little bit of a bleach smell, so if you’re sensitive to smells then that may be an issue. Could hear the next door a little bit. It's an older building, so doors and such are fairly loud. Location is pretty good - close to restaurants, train station, bus station and the sea bus. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful when asked questions (we asked about good places to eat and how to reach the bus station for the airport). Overall, a decent place to stay in Venice. You really have to adjust your expectations in Venice as you won't get an upscale hotel at this price, unlike in some of the other cities.

Clean, comfortable and air conditioned!
The hotel was a short walk from the station. It was located down a side alley but was able to locate it with no issues using google maps. We chose this hotel not because it was close to all the major sights of venice but because it was close to the train. The room was spacious and clean, and most of all the air conditioning was great in the Venice summer heat. I also enjoyed their breakfast. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa!
Stayed 2 nights. Room was very large and bathroom was updated with shower/sink/toilet. Air conditioning worked very well. Located off the main drag near the train station, down an alley in a quiet location. It was a little hard to find, would be helpful to have a sign on the side of building instead of up on a balcony. Breakfast was just okay, could use some nice pastries. Beds were comfortable. Shutters on windows were nice to open when we wanted fresh air, and closed when we wanted to keep the sun and noise out. Wifi worked well. I would stay here again!
