Beautiful old palazzo, lovely, is smallish, bedrooms but with everything you could need. Hotel Ala is in a lovely little piazza, very safe and clean, and ideally situated for San Marco, Rialto and the vaporetto stops on the Grand Canal.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel and the recent upgrades are great, it is such a great location for us. Would always recommend this hotel although the American bar is very expensive and not inviting, 28 euro for 2 Disaronno and cokes, not good

The location was awesome, close to San Marco, and all the shops and water transportation was very close too. friendly staff and great breakfast! A little smelly from the flood maybe? I might be the whole Venice, not sure. I’ll give 9 out of ten for this hotel. Great price and location! I’ll stay there again !
