Well connected to Venice so the distance is not an issue and price is lower. Rooms are ok. The staff gave us good infos on transportation to the city.

We took the train from Florence to Mestre station. Short taxi ride from the train to the hotel (15 Euro fare). The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. All the rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator, not a problem for us, however, I can see that some may find this an issue.Rooms are very clean, I may say a bit dated, but to me, that adds to the experience. Short walk to the Bus (Line 6 which is across the street) and gets you right to the entrance to Venice (Roma water taxi stop) in 10-15 minutes. Our breakfast was furnished by the hotel and was a nice, continental style with fresh coffee, tea or whatever you wished. Hotel staff eager to help and answer questions. A nice local pub was 5 minute walk and allowed us to better blend into the neighborhood which appeared safe and easily navigated.

Wifi no connection , very noisy room next to the main road. Even in 2nd floor we couldn't sleep because of the noise. Also mattresses really bad. Unhelpful staff. Room /bathroom generally clean and close to bus station.

Will stay again. Convenient location.
Has all amenities such as a/c, secure parking & breakfast. No fridge in room but were allowed to keep our cheeses and drinks in the hotel's. Very accommodating staff.

If you have a car than free parking is a blessing, location is only short drive from Venice

Good for the price
We stayed at the hotel to catch a early outbound flight. We booked it because of its convenient access to airport and competitive price, kind of late. Good for the price. But I wouldn't spend more than 100 for it. There are better ones in the city (we stayed earlier) if you want stay longer and book early with slightly higher price. We also debated if we needed the short hotel stay at all, as we had a rental car and were driving from Milan over: could have gone straight to airport and wait for the early morning flight. In the end, we thought it was the right choice to stay at the hotel. Our neighbors were talking loud well into 2 am but we cannot lay much blame on the owner. It's New Year's Eve!
